Trick Or Treat – Halloween 2011

Last night was the night of fear. Ghosts, witches, demons, monsters, skeletons and vampires walked the streets of the city. Halloween is an imported holiday, yes, but foremost a feast for the children, living the illusion to receive candy, trying to scare and to make jokes. I´ve been celebrating this night with my children for several years and as usual we had a great time yesterday. I have to admit that I like it as much as they do and I recognize myself in the happy faces of my kids.

Ieri notte era la festa del terrore, fantasmi, streghe,  diavoli,  mostri, scheletri e vampiri hanno sfilato nelle vie della cittá. Halloween e´una festa importata, sí, ma, sopratutto una festa per i bambini che vivono l’illusione di ricevere carammelle cercando di spaventare e facendo scherzetti. I miei bambini festeggiano la festa da diversi anni ormai, ieri  si sono divertiti moltissimo ma, devo ammettere che anche a me piace tantissimo e mi specchio nei visini allegri dei miei cuccioli.

Anoche fue la fiesta del miedo, fantasmas, brujas, demonios, monstruos, esqueletos y vampiros han desfilado por las calles de la ciudad. Halloween es una fiesta importada, sí, pero sobre todo una fiesta para los niños que viven la ilusión de recibir caramelos tratando de asustar  y gastando bromas. Mis hijos celebran esta fiesta desde hace varios años, ayer lo pasamos muy bien, pero debo admitir que me gusta mucho a mí también y me reflejo en los rostros alegres de mis peques.

It´s been a while since I posted some photos of the shop windows in Palma but during the summer I´ve been really busy. Anyway, here are some samples of the nicest ones. The one from “Intimissimi” really caught my attention, violins and music scores… so true, no fashion without music!

E’ da un po´che non facevo un post sulle amate vetrine dei negozi di Palma, mea culpa, ma, l’estate e´stata un po´dura a causa del lavoro, eccovi  ancora una volta, una carrellata di vetrine invitanti, tra queste quella che piu´ha richiamato la mia attenzione e´quella di Intimissimi,  violini  e spartiture sparsi quá e lá…e’ proprio vero non c’e´moda senza musica!

Hace tiempo que no hacía un post de los escaparates de Palma, mea culpa, pero el verano fue un poco difícil por el trabajo, aquí tenéis, una vez más, una muestra de los escaparates más atractivos, entre ellos, el que me llamó más la atención fue el de “Intimissimi”, violines y pentagramas esparcidos por aquí y por allá … y es cierto que no hay moda  sin música!

Snakeskin Skirt

I love this fuchsia fake snakeskin skirt, I bought it several years ago in Ibiza and since I liked it so much I bought it in three different colours, crazy isn´t it? Sometimes when I don´t know what colour to choose I buy things in various colours, and now it turns out that the shoes that I wear in this outfit I bought in different colours as well. Anyway, I am glad that snakeskin, or imitation, is in vogue again. Genuine snakeskin is very expensive but imitations these days are very good and has nothing to envy the real thing. Would you wear one?

Adoro questa gonna imitazione serpente in fuxia, la comprai diversi anni fa a Ibiza, e siccome mi piaceva cosí tanto,  me la comprai in tre colori, da matti, vero? A volte mi succede quando sono indecisa su quale colore scegliere,  allora me ne compro di diversi colori, proprio in questo mio outfit anche le scarpe le ho comprate in due colori diversi. Sono contenta che la pelle in serpente o imitazione sia tornata di moda anche se il vero serpente e´carissimo ci si puo´accontentare con l’imitazione che fa scena comunque. A voi piace?

Me encanta esta falda de imitación de pitón en color fucsia, que compré hace varios años en Ibiza, y ya que me gustó mucho, la compré en tres colores, una locura, ¿verdad? A veces me pasa cuando no se  qué color elegir, entonces la compré en colores diferentes, justo en este outfit, incluso los zapatos me los compré en dos colores diferentes. Me alegro de que la piel de serpiente o de imitación esté nuevamente de moda, aunque la verdadera piel de serpiente  es carísima, la imitación que hacen, no tienen nada que envidiar a la verdadera. ¿Tú la llevaras?

Burberry & Superga

I´ve been wearing sneakers from Superga since I was a little girl, and I love them! They are very comfortable and you´ll find them in different colours. These, imitating raffia, I wanted to include in a casual look consisting of light trousers from Burberry, a blouse with half-sleeve from the same brand and supplementing it with a wide suede belt. No doubt that is a simple combination, but in my opinion it has an elegant touch to it, what do you say?

Da quando sono ragazzina che indosso le Superga, le adoro!  Trovo che siano molto comode e ne ho di diversi colori, queste sono di raffia che ho voluto abbinare ad un look casual con dei pantaloni in camoscio leggero della Burberry e una camicia a mezze maniche della stessa marca completandolo con  un cinturone alto anche questo in camoscio. Senza dubbio e´un outfit semplice ma a mio parere con un tocco elegante sportivo, voi che ne dite?

Desde que  era niña que llevo las zapatillas  de la firma  Superga, ¡me encantan! Me parece que son muy cómodas y tienen diferentes colores, estos son de rafia que quería combinar a un look casual con pantalones de ante ligero de la firma Burberry y camisa de media manga de la misma marca, completándola con un cinturón de gamuza muy alto. No cabe duda de que es una simple combinación pero, en mi opinión tiene  un toque  elegante, ¿y tú qué dices?

Suede Dress

To be  totally honest, I don´t like to draw the attention when I shot my outfits so I always try to find a quiet place that is not so crowded when possible. These photos were shot around 7 pm and it was very hot so I took the opportunity to wear this light suede dress. Here in Mallorca it´s still warm and even though all shop windows are full of the new fall collections I enjoy wearing my summer wardrobe.

ITALIANO

Sinceramente non mi piace richiamare l’attenzione su di me, infatti quando preparo le foto per il mio outfit, cerco sempre un posto lontano dai curiosi ed a ore meno transitate. Quando ho scattato queste foto erano le sette del pomeriggio, faceva ancora caldo, ne ho approfittato per indossare questo vestito in pelle scamosciata leggero, il tempo quí a Maiorca ci regala ancora delle giornate estive stupende ed anche se i negozi  ci offrono  un abbigliamento pressoché autunnale , io mi diverto ancora con i miei capi estivi.

ESPAÑOL

A ser sincera, no me gusta llamar la atención sobre mí y cuando preparo mis outfits, intento siempre buscar sitios un poco apartados y en horarios con pocas afluencia. Cuando he sacado estas fotos eran la siete de la tarde, hacía mucho calor y he aprovechado para llevar este vestido de antelina  ligero, aquí en Mallorca hay días tan espectaculares como el de hoy y aunque las tiendas nos ofrece prendas otoñales, yo me divierto todavía llevando mis prendas veraniega.

Prima Ballerina

There are moments in life that should never be forgotten! I could not imagine that by birthday would be so perfect! I knew that my husband was going to take me out for dinner but I did not know that it was going to be a “jazz night”. Fantastic, I could dance in high heels (it´s been some time since last time), the singer had a great voice and I felt like the prima ballerina!

ITALIANO

Ci sono momenti che non si scordano mai! Il giorno del mio compleanno  non avrei immaginato risultasse cosí perfetto! Sapevo che mio marito mi avrebbe portato fuori a cena ma, non sapevo che sarebbe  stata una serata jazz. Fantastico,  anche con i tacchi sono riuscita a ballare, era tempo che non lo facevo, la cantante mi ha travolto e mi sono sentita proprio come la prima ballerina!

ESPAÑOL

Hay momentos que no hay que olvidar nunca! El día de mi cumpleaños no hubiese imaginado que resultaría tan perfecto! Sabía que saldría a cenar con mi marido pero, no sabía que iba a ser una noche jazz. Fantástico, también con los tacones pude bailar, era ya tiempo que no lo hacía, la vocalista me ha cautivado con su voz y me he sentido como la primera bailarina!

Paris Hilton On Board

It was a total surprise, but suddenly I had Paris Hilton on board this morning and of course we took a photo. Click, and here it is!!!

Stamattina ho avuto una sorpresa totalmente inaspettata, d’improvviso ho visto che saliva  a bordo Paris Hilton e non ho esitato a chiedergli una foto. Click, ed eccola qua’ !!!
