Given the fact that all of us wants to look after our image it´s important to choose an adequate outfit for each occasion. I don’t know how many times I thought to myself (especially when I travel) that it seems that some people had a fight with their wardrobe, gave up and then put on just anything. I agree with Tom Ford when he says that dressing well is” to show respect to others,” but I would also add “to yourself”. Fashion is a way to express yourself and to show your personality, but in todays society it happens too often that the most important thing is to stand out and if the outfit is right for you or the occasion doesn´t matter. Therefore, when we exaggerate in clothes or accessories our image is affected in a negative way in my opinion. To board a plane in an evening dress, or white, with 12 cm (or higher) high heels is neither chic of very practical. I would say that “not everything goes” and remember the saying “less is more“. So look after your image and don’ t overdo it!

Premesso che ognuno di noi ha un un’ immagine da salvare, per ogni occasione, ci vuole un outfit che deve essere l’ appropiato. Spesso nei miei viaggi o uscite, vedo persone che sembra abbiano “fatto a botte” con il loro armadio, indossando qualsiasi capo che trovano senza badare alle conseguenze. Sono daccordo con Tom Ford, quando dice che “il vestirsi bene e’ un rispetto che si dimostra verso gli altri” ma, aggiungerei anche verso se stessi. Ecco che,  quindi, subentra la voglia a tutti i costi di farsi notare. La moda si’, è un modo di espressare e proiettare la propria personalita’ e la propria immagine ma, nella societa’ in cui viviamo questo ormai avviene in una maniera troppo individualista e senza scrupoli. Percio’, quando, per farsi notare si esagera negli indumenti o accessori, allora, la nostra immagine viene completamente distrutta. Viaggiare in aereo in abito da sera, o vestiti di bianco, con tacchi che superano i 12 centimetri non va bene in assoluto. Io direi che quindi, non tutto e´permesso ed e´meglio il detto “meno e´più “. Attenti quindi con l’esagerare!

Teniendo en cuenta que cada uno de nosotros tiene una imagen que hay que salvar, para cada ocasión, hay que elegir un outfit que debe ser el adecuados. A menudo, en mis viajes o salidas, veo gente que parece “haber peleado” con su vestuario, y se ponen cualquier prenda sin importarle las consecuencias. Estoy de acuerdo con Tom Ford, cuando dice que vestirse bien es “el respeto que se muestran hacia los demás”, pero, yo añadíría también hacia si mismo. Aquí está, entonces, el deseo de triunfar a toda costa y llamar la atención. La moda es una manera de expresarse  y proyectar su propia personalidad y su imagen, pero, en la sociedad en que vivimos, esto pasa de una manera demasiado individualista y sin escrúpulos. Por lo tanto, cuando, para llamar la atención, se exagera en la ropa o los accesorios, entonces, nuestra imagen se ve afectada. Viajar en avión en vestido de noche o vestidos de blanco, con zapatos de tacón que excedan de 12 cm no es bueno en absoluto. Yo diría que sí, no todo está permitido y es mejor el dicho “menos es más“. Cuidado, pues, no te pases!
