Here Comes The Bride

We still have to wait a while for the spring, and the good weather, to arrive but I´m sure that many of you are already planning your wedding. May is very popular for such an important occasion in a woman’s life, I got married in May as well and I remember it with great joy. It´s a day that goes by so quickly, filled with thrills, a magical moment that makes you feel like the princess you’ve always dreamed of being. I bet many of you are looking for wedding dress right now but it´s not easy to find the right one. For a church wedding the bride can wear a more sophisticated dress with a traditional veil and gloves, if it´s a civil wedding its better to choose a simple ecru colored dress.

Lungi ancora dall’arrivo della primavera e dal buon tempo, molte di voi sono gia’ alle prese con i preparativi delle nozze. Spesso, si sceglie il mese di maggio per quest’occasione importante nella vita di una donna, anch’io come molte di voi ho scelto maggio e lo ricordo con molta allegria. E’ un giorno che passa in fretta, strabboccante di emozioni, un momento magico che ci fa sentire come la Principessa che da sempre abbiamo sognato. Scommetto che molte di voi sono alle prese con la scelta del vestito ed e’ difficile sceglierne uno tra tanti. Per un matrimonio religioso la sposa potra`scegliere un vestito piu’ elaborato con il classico velo e con i guanti, se si tratta di un matrimonio civile e’ invece consigliabile evitare il tipico vestito da sposa e sceglierlo in un colore neutro.

Lejos queda la llegada de la primavera y del buen tiempo todavía, pero muchas de vosotras están organizando su boda. A menudo se elige el mes de mayo para esta ocasión importante en la vida de una mujer, yo también como muchas de vosotras elegí el mes de mayo y lo recuerdo con mucha alegría. Es un día que pasa de prisa, lleno de emociones, un momento mágico que nos hace sentir como la Princesa que siempre hemos soñado ser. Apuesto que muchas de vosotras están buscando el vestido de boda y no es fácil encontrar el adecuado entre tantos. Para una boda religiosa la novia podrá’ elegir un vestido más elaborado con el velo clásico y los guantes, si se trata de una boda civil es aconsejable elegir un vestido de color crudo evitando el clásico vestido de novia.

Who does not have a blouse in the closet? I’m sure every one of you have many but one is the favorite and the one that suits you best. There are 100 ways to wear a blouse; if your favorite is a bit special and you want to highlight it in your outfit it´s best to wear few accessories, if it on the other hand is basic e.g white you have to enrich it with an accessory that catches your eye. One of my favorite brands since quite some time is “made in Italy” – Nara Camicie – good quality and prices, besides you´ll find their shops in many places. The new Spring-Summer collection is out and it will not be easy to pick just one!

Chi non ha una camicia nel suo armadio? Sono sicurissima che ognuna di noi ne ha piu’ di una ma, che solo una e’ quella che ci sta meglio di tutte le altre: la favorita. Ci sono 100 modi per indossare e abbinare una camicia, se indossiamo una camicia che e’ particolare e quindi vogliamo che la camicia sia la protagonista del nostro outfit, e’ meglio portare pochi accessori, se la camicia e’ semplice e magari bianca, arricchitela con qualche accessorio particolare che risaltera’ di sicuro. Quien no tiene una camisa en su armario? Estoy segura de que cada una de nosotras tiene muchas pero una es la favorita y la que mejor nos sienta. Hay 100 manera de llevar y combinar una camisa, si es especial y queremos que destaque en nuestro outfit, es mejor llevar pocos accesorios, si la camisa es simple y por ejemplo es blanca, hay que enriquecerla con un accesorio que llame la atención. Una de las firmas que hace tiempo que sigo y que me encanta es el made in Italy – Nara Camicie, la calidad y los precios son accesibles a todos, sus tiendas están un poco por todo. La nueva colección de primavera-verano ya esta’ en el mercado y la elección es difícil!

Maxi Jumper & Shoulder Bag

Today, the outfit is casual. I like to wear this kind of maxi jersey together with jeans as it´s very comfortable. I found it earlier this winter and I´ve been using it a lot, here together with jeans but as well it´s great with leggins.

Oggi il mio outfit e’ abbastanza casual, mi risulta comodo indossare un maglione lungo con i jeans. Questo maxi maglione l’ho comprato quest’inverno e l’ho portato parecchio; quí lo porto con un paio di jeans ma mi piace anche con un leggins.

Hoy el outfit es algo informal, me gusta llevar este tipo de jersey largo con un vaquero pues te siente comoda. Este maxi jersey lo encontré este invierno y lo he aprovechado bastante; aquí lo llevo con vaquero pero sienta genial también con un leggins.

New Season – 6 Combinations

Next season is just around the corner so soon we´ll not have to wear heavy winter coats any longer but lighter and colourful garments. I wish it arrives soon, and I´m already checking up what´s out there so here are some ideas for possible combinations.

Red For Passion

Hi girls! Nothing better than a walk with my dog Lucky under the sun of Majorca, not too warm, just wonderful. Red is a trendy colour, matched with camel or black it´s very elegant. Normally it´s a colour that looks good on people with warm typology , in other words those who have different tones of brown hair (looks good on golden blonds as well), dark skin (or medium and pale) and brown or honey coloured eyes. So go for passion red, you´ll be in vanguard next season as well.

Ciao ragazze! Non c’e’ niente di meglio che una passeggiata con il mio cagnolino Lucky sotto il tiepido ma splendido sole di Maiorca. Il rosso e’ un colore che va di moda, abbinato al color cammello o al nero risulta molto elegante. Principalmente e’ un colore che fa per chi appartiene ad una tipologia calda e cioe’ a chi ha la tonalita’ di capelli castani in tutte le sue sfumature ma anche con il biondo dorato, hanno una pelle scura, media ma anche chiara con occhi marroni o miele. Avanti col rosso passione quindi che, anche la prossima stagione va per la maggiore.

Hola chicas! No hay nada mejor que ir de paseo con mi perro Lucky bajo el sol de Mallorca aún templado pero maravilloso. El rojo es uno de los colores de moda, conjuntado con el camel o el negro resulta muy elegante. Mayoritariamente es un color que siente bien a las tipología cálida o sea a quien posee un tono de pelo castaño en todas sus tonalidades pero también al rubio dorado, para quien tiene la piel oscura, media y también blanca, con ojos marrones o miel. Entonces adelante con el rojo pasión, también para la próxima temporada iras a la última.

Makeover

It´s been quite some time now since I finished my Styling and Personal Shopper training. Among the exercises I did during the course there is one in particular that I´m very satisfied with: the makeover of Sharon. She gave me free hands and we spent a whole day together, the change was amazing, she was very satisfied and I was so glad when I heard that that her husband, friends and colleagues at work were speechless. Thank you very much Sharon for this wonderful day, you´re such a nice person!

E’ gia’ da tempo che ho finito il corso di Estilismo e Personal Shopper. Tra gli esercizi pratici che ho realizzato, uno di quelli che piu’ mi ha entusiasmato e’ certamente il make over di Sharon che si e’ affidata a me senza dubitare e abbiamo passato insieme una giornata intera; il cambio e’ stato fantastico, lei e’ rimasta totalmente soddisfatta e la cosa piu’ bella e’ che suo marito, gli amici ed i colleghi ne sono rimasti esterefatti. Grazie Sharon per la giornata stupenda passata insieme e per la tua simpatia!

Hace tiempo que termine’ el curso de Estilismo y Personal Shopper. Entre los ejercicios prácticos que he realizado, uno ha sido el que más me ha satisfecho: el make over de Sharon. Ha confiado en mí sin dudar y hemos pasado juntas un día entero; el cambio ha sido fantástico, ella quedo’ totalmente satisfecha y la cosa más bonita es que su marido, los amigos y los compañeros de trabajo han quedado bocabierta. Gracias Sharon por este día tan estupendo y por tu simpatía!

Confetti

Today is very cold but there is a beautiful sun shining and it makes me think of spring! The pret á porter collections spring-summer 2011 are full of colours so prepare to get some garments with asymmetric cuts, ruffles and overalls that remind me of confetti, colours like acid green, orange, red, purple and pink on animal print, geometric shapes, dots, squares and many, many flowers. Personally I like colours, so I will not be able to resist. What about you?

Oggi e’ una giornata fredda ma, con un sole incredibile, mi fa pensare gia’ alla primavera! Le collezioni pret á porter primavera-estate 2011 stanno arrivando con l’esplosione dei colori. Preparatevi il budget per acquistare vestiti asimmetrici, con volants e tutine che ricordano i coriandoli, colori come il verde limone, l’arancione, il rosso, il viola e il rosa su stampati animale, forme geometriche, pois, quadretti e tanti, tanti fiori. Io, che sono per il colore, sono sicura che non resistero’ alla tentazione, e tu?

Hoy es un día muy frio pero con un sol increíble, esto me hace pensar ya a la primavera! Las colecciones pret á porter primavera-verano 2011 llegan con la explosión de colores. Prepararos el budget para adquirir prendas de corte asimetrico, con vuelos y monos que me recuerdan los confetis, colores como el verde acido, el naranja, el rojo, el lila y el rosa sobre estampado animal, formas geométricas, lunares, cuadritos y muchas, muchas flores.
