Venice – 18 Hours 18 Photos

Beautiful little side canal to Canal Grande

ENGLISH

Venice is such a magic place and even if I only spent 18 hours there on my last visit (as I was on my way to Canazei with my children and husband) we took some photos. As usual most of them are from smaller canals, streets and not so famous buildings that most tourists miss but I believe that these places are well worth a visit. I hope that you´ll enjoy them… Ciao!

ITALIANO

Disfrutalas…Ciao!

View from our hotel room – Canal Cannaregio

The gondolier went for lunch and left this typical “cappello”

One of the cozier canals even if it´s not one of the smallest

Typical “palazzo” on Rio Tera Farsetti in Cannaregio

Not all boats are Gondolas and this one is so beautiful

Sunset over Canal Cannaregio and the mainland

Cool guys – these musicians were playing Vivaldi outside…

… the Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari church

This is one of these small canals that so picturesque – the photo is shot from one bridge and in the background you can see the third  (from the first to the third beige it´s at the most 100 meters) – this is just one example of all the pearls that you will find in Venice

Of course there are small alleys as well

The one and only Rialto brigade (it´s a pity with all the graffiti) – look at the gondola how beautiful it is on the inside

Early evening over the Cannaregio Canal – seen from Ponte delle Guglie

Scuola di San Rocco

…and this guy was performing outside

Another beautiful Gondola

There are so many beautiful small canals – look at this one, it´s almost like a painting

Time to leave Venice – sunrise over Canal Grande seen from Ponte Scalzi
