Hi girls, so I´ve finally landed in Stockholm! These last two months have been very tiring if not to say exhausting, but there is an end to everything and now I can start offering my outfits from Sweden. It was rather warm this morning (even if the summer is almost over here) when I went for a walk at Kaggeholms Slott (castle) so I choose a comfortable dress with straps and sandals.

Now when I´m living here I will show you Sweden (as seen through my eyes) and my outfits with a touch of the latest trends in this northern city. Ciao, see you soon!

Salve ragazze, eccomi finalmente atterrata a Stoccolma! Questi due ultimi mesi sono stati pressoché stancanti per non dire logoranti ma, per tutto c’è un fine e così posso incominciare a proporvi i miei outfit dalla Svezia. Stamattina la giornata era alquanto calda, anche se quì si va verso la fine dell’estate, mi sono permessa ancora di osare con una ‘mise’ sbracciata, un vestito comodo con dei sandali stile schiava che ho indossato per una passeggiata al Castello di Kaggeholms Slott, un posto incantevole per un tuffo nel passato.

Spero potervi far conoscere la Svezia attraverso i miei occhi e offrirvi nuovi outfit seguendo le tendenze del momento da questa città nordica. Arrivederci, a presto!

Hola chicas, finalmente he aterrizado en Estocolmo! Estos últimos dos meses han sido muy cansado por no decir decir agotador, pero hay un fin para todo y así ya puedo comenzar a ofrecer mis outfits desde Suecia. Esta mañana, el día era caluroso, aunque el verano està acabando, me atreví con una propuesta muy veraniega, un vestido cómodo con tirantes y esclava para dar un paseo al Castillo de Kaggeholms Slott, un lugar encantador que me llevó al pasado.

A través de mis ojos, os enseñaré Suecia y os ofreceré mis outfits siguiendo siempre las tendencias del momento desde esta ciudad del norte. Ciao Y hasta pronto!

If I had to live in Sweden for sure I could not do without a cap as it´s absolutely necessary to have one to cope with the cold. This one is made of wool with some rhinestones here and there and I used it a lot in Stockholm. I saw different types, the most beautiful ones were made of fur but they were rather expensive, even if they were synthetic, and some like mine but with the pompom made of hair. I thought that it was a bit strange that I did not see any felt slouch hats but maybe it´s because in a country where its´s cold and just a few hours of daylight during the winter you want to take advantage of these hours. What about you, what´s you kind of cap?

Se dovessi vivere in Svezia certamente non potrei fare a meno del cappello. È un capo indispensabile per ripararsi dal freddo, questo che indosso è in lana con degli strass quà e là e mi ha fatto molto comodo a Stoccolma. Ne ho visti di diversi, quelli più belli sono in pelliccia e abbastanza cari, anche se sintetici ma, ne ho visti tanti simili al mio con il ponpon in pelliccia, strano mi sono detta, quelli di feltro con ampio revers dovrebbero essere più in voga ma, forse, nei paesi freddi si sente il bisogno di camminare a viso scoperto per approfittare delle poche ore di luce; tu che ne dici? Che tipo di cappello ti piace?

Si tuviese que vivir en Suecia está claro que no podría prescindir del gorro.Es una pieza indispensable, para hacer frente al frío, el que llevo es de lana con unos strass aquí y allá y lo he llevado mucho en Estocolmo. Los he visto de varios tipos, los más bonitos sin duda eran los de pelo y bastante caros, aunque sintéticos, he visto también muchos parecido al mío pero, con el pompón de pelo, raro me dije a mi misma, se debería ver mas los de fieltro con solapa ancha, quizás es porque, en los países fríos se necesita aprovechar de las pocas horas de sol que hay durante el día; y tu que dices? Que tipo de gorro te gusta?

The first time I came to Stockholm the capital of Sweden, as well known as “Venice of the north”, was almost 25 years ago and since then I´ve been to this beautiful city so many times  that I´ve lost the count, anyway, here are some photos that I took on my last visit earlier this summer. Stockholm is beautiful in the winter as well (especially if there´s snow) but I prefer the summer with the bright nights that never gets really dark. As well I included some shots from an excursion that I made to Trosa, a small city approximately 1 hours drive south of Stockholm, that I liked a lot and that I´m sure that I will visit again sooner or later.

A Stoccolma,  chiamata anche  la Venezia del Nord,  ci sono andata per la prima volta 25 anni fa e da allora ci sono capitata cosí tante volte che oramai ho perso il conto; l’ultima visita l’ho fatta all’inizio dell’ estate. E´una cittá che anche d’inverno, soppratutto se c’é neve, é veramente bella ma, comunque la preferisco nella stagione estiva quando le giornate si allungano cosí tanto che le notti non si scuriscono mai. Questa volta ho fatto una gita nella cittadina di Trosa che si trova ad un’ ora dalla capitale andando verso sud e devo dire che me ne sono innamorata, sembra quasi di tuffarsi in un quadro e sono sicura che ci ritorneró prima o poi.

En  Estocolmo, nombrada también la Venecia del Norte, fui por primera vez hace ya 25 años y desde entonces he ido tantas veces que he perdido la cuenta; la última vez fui a principio del verano. Es una ciudad que también en invierno, sobre todo si hay nieve, es muy bonita pero,  yo la prefiero en verano cuando los días se alargan y las noches casi no oscurecen nunca. Esta vez hice una excursión a Trosa, una ciudad pequeña que se  encuentra en el sur de la capital a casi una hora de coche y que me encantó, estoy segura que volveré allí tarde o temprano.

Kastellholmen – A small island in the center of the city with a small castle “Kastellet”.

Sergels Torg – the fountain and the roundabout at the most central public square.

Djurgården – View from Waldemardsudde – I just love this lush greenery.

Djurgårdsfärja –  I you don´t want to take the bus you can always take the ferry to Djurgården.

Midsummers Night – During the summer the nights are very bright, this photos was shot approximately 22.00h.

I really liked Trosa, it´s very cute. If you have a chance to go there take it!

Jungfrusund – Back in Stockholm and the nice restaurant & bar Jungfrusund on Ekerö. Great place for a drink or something to eat, right by the lake Mälaren.

Norrmalmstorg – Bike – In Rome I found a green&black one but here it´s red&black.

Stureplan – One of the hottest areas for shopping, dining, to hang out…

Biblioteksgatan – Nice shopping, between Norrmalmstorg and Stureplan, among others you´ll find COS here.

Stockholm have the sea on one side and a lake on the other so there are a lot of boats to watch, like this classic yacht.

Arlanda Airport – In the middle of Stockholm on the island of Djurgården there is a big “fun house” for kids called Junibacken after one of all the stories by Astrid Lindgren (Pippi Longstockings etc). Now they have made a small “teaser” at the airport (I think it´s terminal 5) for the kids to play in while they wait for the flight, it´s very nice and I can tell you that my kids just loved it.

El gigante sueco H&M abrirá’ las puertas de su primer COS ( Collection of Style) en Estocolmo para el próximo verano, estará situado en Biblioteksgatan en el corazón de la ciudad.
