Sightseeing In Rome

Fontana di Trevi – seen from the bar/restaurant at hotel Fontana

ENGLISH

Last year I had a post with photos from my beloved Rome. As it was very appreciated, and as most people go on vacation during the summer, I thought that I´d give you some tips on well known monuments and some hidden treasures to visit this year as well . So, here are some new photos from the eternal city that I hope that you´ll enjoy.

ITALIANO

Chiesa Gesù e Maria al Corso – you´ll most probably passed it many time when you´ve been out shopping on Via del Corso but missed it so why not take a few minutes to go inside next time

Galleria Alberto Sordi – shopping center in front of Piazza Colonna on Via del Corso

Statue of Federico Seismit Doda – Piazza Benedetto Cairoli

Courtyard hotel Ponte Sisto - a tranquil oasis to relax after a day of sightseeing and shopping

Detail courtyard hotel Ponte Sisto

Courtyard on Via Borgognona

Like I mentioned above there´s not only shopping on Via del Corso

Wall painting on Via dei Pettinari

Swedish photographer on Via Condotti

Caffe Macchiato - coffee is an art in Italy and of course it´s the best in the world

Tritone by Bernini on Piazza Barberini

Lobby at hotel Borgo Pio – very nice apartments 10 minutes walk from the Vatican

Saw this cute dog in a car next to our taxi on Lungo Trevere

Piazza del Popolo towards Villa Borgese – the big park in central Rome

Obelisco on Piazza del Popolo at sunset

Motorcycle police waiting for some VIP outside the parliament

Always nice on Via Borgognona

Castel Sant Angelo – Doesn´t need any presentation if you´ve read or seen “Angels and Demons”

Late afternoon over Via Tomacelli – seen from the corner of  Via del Corso and Via Condotti
