As you know I was in Rome last week and as usual the shops were full of beautiful dresses, stunning coats, lovely accessories and much, much more. Here is a small selection from the area around Via del Corso and Via Condotti where there already was a Christmas spirit in the air, over the next weeks there will be more so stay tuned!

Come gia’ sapete, la settimana scorsa ero a Roma e mi sono dilettata nel vedere negozi con vestiti, cappotti, accessori e di tutto e di piu’. Eccovi altre vetrine di negozi della zona di Via del Corso e Via Condotti dove gia’ si respira aria del Natale che si avvicina. Prossimamente ve ne faro’ vedere deglle altre, quindi rimanete in contatto!!!

Como ya sabeis, la semana pasada estube en Roma donde me he saboreado la navidad que se acerca atraves de los escaparates de las tiendas que ofrecian maravillas como abrigos, vestidos, zapatos y accesorios estupendos. I am proud to be Italian! When I see real works of art as these I feel the artistic flair and sense for beauty in the veins of the Italians. Rome is recognized as a city full of art and history, millions of tourists are coming from all over the world every year to see the eternal city, noisy yes, but with an incredible charisma that conquers your heart and takes you on a historical ride, not for nothing they say “see Rome and die. ”

Mi sento orgogliosa di essere italiana! Quando vedo vere opere d’arte come queste, sento la vena artistica  e il senso della bellezza che scorre nelle vene degli italiani. Roma e’ risaputo che e’ la citta’ d’arte per eccellenza, fiumi di turisti provenienti da tutte le parti del mondo si danno appuntamento in questa eterna citta’, caotica sí, ma, con un carisma eccezionale che ti ruba l’anima e ti trasporta nei secoli passati; non per altro si dice: “vedi Roma e poi muori”.

¡Me siento orgullosa de ser italiana! Cuando veo verdaderas obras de arte como estas, siento la vena artística y el sentido de la belleza que fluye en la sangre de los italianos. Roma es de conocimiento de todos que es la ciudad del arte en absoluto, ríos de turistas que llegan desde cualquier parte del mundo  se dan cita en la eterna ciudad, ruidosa sí, pero con un carisma increíble que te roba el alma y te lleva en los siglos pasados; no por nada se dice: ” ves Roma y luego te mueres”.

It was my intention to show you some other parts of Rome as well this time but due to the rain (I think my photographer needs to buy some new shoes) I had to concentrate on one area. So here are some shop windows from the area of Via del Corso, Via Condotti, Piazza di Spagnia and some smaller streets as Via Frattina and Via Borgognona to mention a few.

La mia intenzione era quella di farvi conoscere altre zone per lo shopping di Roma ma, a causa della pioggia mi sono dovuta soffermare in una zona concreta ( a proposito il mio fotografo ha proprio bisogno di un paio di scarpe nuove). Eccovi alcune vetrine di negozi di Via del Corso, Via Condotti, Piazza di Spagna e altre vie come Via Frattina e Via Borgognona e qualche altra.

And that was just how I felt when I entered the shops on, and around, Via del Corso in Rome last week. Are you coming with me?

Ciao ragazze, sono sicura che molte di voi, chi piu’ e chi meno, hanno comprato moda on line. Certamente e’ facile trovare quello che cercate ed e’ il futuro che ci aspetta un po’ a tutti, ti permette di meditare sull’acquisto, di paragonarne y prezzi e la qualita’, ma, per quanto mi riguarda forse sono ancora un po’ tradizionalista in questo senso e devo ammettere che non c’e’ niente di meglio che entrare in un negozio e toccare con mano il capo scelto, questo mi e’ successo quando entravo nei negozi di Via del Corso  e dintorni  a Roma la scorsa settimana. Mi accompagni?

Hola chicas, estoy segura de que muchas de vosotras, quien más y quien menos, han comprado moda on line. Es cierto que es una manera facil de encontrar aquello que buscaís y que es el futuro que nos espera un poco a todos, te permite meditar en la compra, de comparar precios y calidad, pero, yo todav’ia soy un poco tradicionalista en este sentido y tengo que admitir de que no hay nada mejor que entrar en una tienda y tocar las prendas elejidas, esto mismo me ha pasado cuando entre’ en las tiendas de Via del Corso y los alrededores en Romas la semana pasada. Me acompañas?

During daytime it´s better to wear only one garment made of velvet or a small detail, on a jacket as an example, as a complete outfit it´s perfect for a special evening. This dark blue gown I bought in a shop on Via del Corso – Rome – that I really like for their unique and special garments.

El terciopelo ha sido siempre uno de mis tejidos favoritos, el solo tacto suave me fascina, por el día se lleva solo como única prenda o por ejemplo un detalle de una chaqueta, el conjunto entero es mejor dejarlo para una noche especial. Este vestido largo de color azul oscuro lo compre’ en Roma en Via del Corso en una de mis tiendas favorita por sus prendas únicas pero también especiales.

Il velluto e’ sempre stata una delle mie  stoffe favorite, il solo tatto morbido mi rapisce, di giorno e’ consentito un capo singolo o per esempio un dettaglio di una giacca, il total look lo lasciamo per una serata speciale. Questo vestito lungo  blu notte lo comprai  a Roma in Via del Corso in  uno dei miei negozi  favoriti per i suoi capi unici ma anche particolari.
