This summer dress with paisley print makes me think of the scarfs, often forgotten in our outfits, maybe it's because it's a common print on classic scarves (that are back in fashion). Last summer we've seen a lot of them on the beach, tied as a sarong, tied on the head and even as tops, skirts or dresses (see the S/S collection 2012 from D&G). I've always associated scarfs with mature people, but I was wrong, the main reason is that you should wear them in an elegant but at the same time jaunty way, and not all of us gets away with that. A scarf adds that extra to an outfit and gives that touch that, in the absence of a major gem, completes the look. This winter, I plan to use more of them and maybe look in my mothers wardrobe to see if she still keeps that cashmere scarf that I loved so much. What about youself, do you dare to wear a scarf in every possible way?

Questo vestito leggero e a disegni cachemire mi fa venire in mente il foulard, chissà é perchè é un motivo ricorrente nei classici foulard che quest'hanno vanno tantissimo; in spiaggia l'abbiamo rivisti annodati come parei, a bandana o addirittura a mo' di top, gonne e persino vestiti (vedi collezione P/E 2012 di D&G). Il foulard l'ho sempre associato alla maturità delle persone ma, mi sbagliavo sicuramente, il fatto é che per portarlo con eleganza e disinvoltura non è affatto facile; invece arricchisce el outfit e le da' quel tocco che, in mancanza del gioiello importante, ci completa il look. Quest'inverno mi sono proposta usarlo di più e magari, cercare negli armadi di mia mamma se, quel foulard a disegni cachemire che tanto mi piaceva, lo conserva ancora.E tu che farai? Ci provi a sbizzarrirti con i suoi mille modi di legarlo?

Este vestido ligero y con dibujos cachemir me hace pensar en el pañuelo muchas veces olvidados en nuestros look; quizás es porque es un tema recurrente en los pañuelos clásicos que este año vuelven a estar de moda; el verano pasado ya lo hemos visto en la playa anudado como un pareo, anudado en la cabeza, como top y hasta de falda o vestido (ver la colección S / S 2012 D & G). El pañuelo lo he siempre asociado con la madurez de las personas, pero estaba equivocada, la principal razón es que hay que llevarlo con elegancia y nonchalance y esto no es fácil conseguirlo. El pañuelo enriquece el outfit y le proporciona aquel toque que, en ausencia de una joya importante, sabe completar el look. Este invierno, me he propuesto usarlo más y tal vez buscar en los armarios de mi madre si, ese pañuelo cachemir que tanto me gustaba lo sigue guardando. Y tú, ¿intentarás llevar el pañuelo de las mil maneras posibles?

Venice is such a magic place and even if I only spent 18 hours there on my last visit (as I was on my way to Canazei with my children and husband) we took some photos. As usual most of them are from smaller canals, streets and not so famous buildings that most tourists miss but I believe that these places are well worth a visit. I hope that you´ll enjoy them… Ciao!

Venezia è veramente un luogo magico e, anche se, quest’ultima volta ho solo passato 18 ore, ne ho approfittato per scattare queste stupende foto; poi, ho proseguito il mio viaggio verso le Dolomiti e precisamente a Canazei insieme alla mia famiglia. La maggior parte delle foto sono state scattate nei piccoli canali, nelle viuzze oppure agli edifici che la maggior parte dei turisti non conoscono, ma che meritano essere visti. Buona visione quindi…Ciao!

Venecia es verdaderamente un lugar mágico, aunque esta última vez me pasé solo 18 horas, tuve la oportunidad de tomar estas hermosas fotos, y luego, continué mi viaje a las Dolomitas y precisamente en Canazei con mi familia; La mayoría de las fotos han sido sacadas en pequeños canales, en las callejuelas o los edificios que la mayoría de los turistas no conocen y que, de todas formas merecen ser vistos. Disfrutalas…Ciao!

Hi again, this is from the first day in Venice, a beautiful day in every way. I´ve mentioned it before that when I pack my bag I only bring the most essential, functional and the minimum required, I learned  the importanes of traveling light as a flight attendant.

I imagined that it would be very warm in Venice so I thought that shorts, tee and sandals would be the right outfit for some sightseeing. Fluorescent green is a colour that stands out when you´re tanned and orange accessories makes it a very summery look. I love Venice!

Salve a tutti, questa è la prima giornata a Venezia, una giornata splendida sotto tutti i punti di vista. Come già ve ne ho parlato in altre occasioni, la mia valigia deve essere essenziale, funzionale e con il minimo occorrente; questo l’ho imparato nella mia professione che mi ha insegnato a viaggiare leggera.

Infatti, immaginando il caldo anche in città, ho pensato di portarmi bermuda e magliette, i sandali poi sono certamente necessari per camminare per le vie della città. Il verde fluó è un colore che risalta la carnagione appena abbronzata che con l’aggiunta dei dettagli arancioni ne fanno un outfit estivo al 100%. Adoro Venezia!

Hola a tod@s, este es el primer día en Venecia, un día hermoso en todos los sentidos. Como he mencionado en otras ocasiones, mi maleta debe ser esencial, funcional y con el mínimo requerido, lo aprendí en mi profesión que me enseñó a viajar con poco peso.

De hecho, imaginaba el calor en la ciudad y por eso he pensado de llevar pantalones cortos y camisetas y acerté con las sandalias para caminar por las calles de la ciudad. El verde fluo es un color que destaca con la tez bronceada y con los accesorios en naranja lo convierten en el outfit veraniego al 100%. Me encanta Venecia!

Hi, today I went with my family from Palma de Mallorca to Venice, with a stopover in Barcelona, and tomorrow we´ll continue to the beautiful mountain village Canazei where we stayed two years ago. Right now I´m in Venice, where we will spend the night in the same hotel as last time.

If you ever been to Venice you know that it´s a city that captures your heart and that you want to return to. Walking through its streets you´ll always discover some place where it seems like time has stopped. It´s been very hot all day but we had pizza and ice cream as one should when in Italy and at the end of the day we enjoyed a bretahtaking sunset… BEAUTIFUL! Soon I’ll show you some pictures of today´s outfit as well as photos from this romantic city.

Salve a tutti, oggi sono partita con la mia famiglia da Palma di Maiorca a Venezia, con scalo a Barcellona, per recarmi domani a Canazei, il bellissimo paesino di montagna delle Dolomiti, dove siamo stati due anni fa. Adesso mi trovo a Venezia dove passeremo la notte nello stesso albergo dell’ultima volta.

Venezia é certamente una città che conoscono in tanti o che sognano di conoscere in tanti. Passeggiando per le sue viuzze si scoprono sempre nuovi scorci di quella Venezia che sembra si sia fermata nel passato. L’alta temperatura ci ha accompagnato tutta la giornata ma, non abbiamo perso l’occasione di prenderci la pizza, il gelato e godere di un’invidiabile tramonto… B E L L I S S I M O! Presto vi farò vedere le foto del mio outfit per questa giornata nonché immagini di questa romantica città.

Hola a tod@s, hoy he salido de viaje con mi familia desde Palma de Mallorca a Venecia, con escala en Barcelona para ir mañana a Canazei, el bonito pueblo de montaña en las Dolomitas, donde estuvimos hace dos años. Ahora estoy en Venecia, donde pasaremos la noche en el mismo hotel que la última vez.

Venecia es una ciudad que sin duda conoce mucha gente o que sueñan en conocerla. Paseando por sus calles se descubren siempre nuevos rincones de Venecia que parece haberse detenido en el pasado. La alta temperatura nos ha acompañados todo el día, pero no perdimos la oportunidad de tomarnos una pizza, un helado y disfrutar de una puesta de sol envidiable …. H E R M O S A!
