Well guys, now it´s time to go for a virtual window shopping tour of my beloved Rome. A city where there´s always some fashion to discover and enjoy. Always a special style, accurate in every detail that enhances the natural elegance of the habitants. The shop windows with colours of the season, but always composed and minimalist. Velvet, red, leather, studs and coloured bags is what you see in this part… and soon there will be more!

Bene ragazze/i é giunta l’ora di fare una carrellata virtuale attraverso le vetrine dei negozi della mia sempre amata Roma. Una città sempre da scoprire e da assaporare, la moda di Roma mostra sempre un gusto speciale, accurato nei minimi particolari e che esalta l’eleganza innata della gente. Le vetrine di quest’autunno portano il colore ma sempre composto e minimalista. Il velluto, il rosso, la pelliccia, le borchie e le borse colorate sono quello che si vede in questa mia prima sfilata di negozi…aspettate , alla prossima!!

Una moda que muestra siempre un estilo especial, precisa en cada detalle y que realza la elegancia innata de la gente. Las ventanas de otoño le dan el color, pero siempre compuesta y minimalista. La Dolce Vita In A Black Denny Rose Dress

I can´t deny that I´m passionate about tight clothing that emphasize a woman´s femininity and I don´t think there’s something more beautiful than to be wrapped in a dress that enhances your silhouette.

I was invited to big party which required a “cocktail dress” so I had to figure out what to wear. I had no intention of buying something new as my closet is more than full of all kinds of garments. At first, I did not plan on wearing a long dress because even though there was a dress code it was not too strict and most probably I was going to dance until late. So I thought that a short dress would do fine but as I´m not very tanned yet I finally opted for a long. Black is always perfect for these occasions (except for a wedding) so I chose this long draped dress with a lateral opening by Denny Rose. This will be great, I said to myself so, voilà, just like Anita Ekberg in La Dolce Vita!

Non posso nascondere che, i vestiti aderenti che evocano la femminilitá della donna mi appassionano, non credo ci sia niente di più bello che poter sentirsi fasciata da un abito che esalta la tua siluette.

Avevo in programma una grande festa e, si richiedeva “vestito da ricevimento”. Immediatamente, mi misi a pensare come poter vestirmi ma, non avevo intenzione di comprare niente di nuovo dato che abbondano, nel mio armadio, vestiti di tutti i tipi. All’inizio non pensavo proprio al lungo perché visto che non era una festa proprio d’etichetta come un matrimonio, ma, sapevo che erano previsti balli fino a tardi. Quindi ho pensato che andava bene un vestito appena sopra il ginocchio ma, non avendo ancora la pelle abbronzata, mi sono decantata per uno lungo. Il nero é sempre perfetto per questo tipo di occasioni ( assolutamente non per un matrimonio) e così, ho scelto questo di Denny Rose un po’ drappeggiato e con la gonna trasparente che faceva intravedere la gamba ma, non troppo. Successo assicurato mi sono detta e, voilà, proprio come Anita Ekberg nella “La Dolce Vita”!

No puedo ocultar que, las prendas ajustadas que evocan la feminidad de la mujer me apasionan, no creo que haya nada más hermoso que sentirse envuelta en un traje que realza tu silueta.

Tenía una gran fiesta en programa, donde se requería un “vestido de cocktail”. Inmediatamente, me puse a pensar que ponerme y no tenía intención de comprar nada nuevo, ya que abundan en mi armario, vestidos de todo tipo. Al principio, no pensé ponerme un vestido largo ya que tampoco iba a ser una fiesta muy estricta, pero sabía que se iba a bailar hasta tarde. Así que pensé que estaba bien con un vestido más corto, el problema era que no estaba muy bronceada, así que al final me decanté por el vestido largo. El negro es siempre perfecto para este tipo de ocasiones (prohibido para una boda) y por eso elegí este vestido de Denny Rose drapeado y abierto lateralmente en la pierna. Serà un éxito seguro, me dije a mi misma, así que, voilà, justo como lo llevaría Anita Ekberg en “La Dolce Vita”!

Mi sento orgogliosa di essere italiana! Quando vedo vere opere d’arte come queste, sento la vena artistica e il senso della bellezza che scorre nelle vene degli italiani. Roma e’ risaputo che e’ la citta’ d’arte per eccellenza, fiumi di turisti provenienti da tutte le parti del mondo si danno appuntamento in questa eterna citta’, caotica sí, ma, con un carisma eccezionale che ti ruba l’anima e ti trasporta nei secoli passati; non per altro si dice: “vedi Roma e poi muori”.

¡Me siento orgullosa de ser italiana! Cuando veo verdaderas obras de arte como estas, siento la vena artística y el sentido de la belleza que fluye en la sangre de los italianos. Roma es de conocimiento de todos que es la ciudad del arte en absoluto, ríos de turistas que llegan desde cualquier parte del mundo se dan cita en la eterna ciudad, ruidosa sí, pero con un carisma increíble que te roba el alma y te lleva en los siglos pasados; no por nada se dice: ” ves Roma y luego te mueres”.

Christmas Shopping in Rome

Most capitals around the world are great for shopping but as you understand I feel something special for my “old” hometown. Especially this time of year I really like walking around watching the shop windows, looking for that special gift for someone dear or why not for yourself. In Rome there are many great shopping areas but this time I´ve concentrated on the triangle Via del Corso – Via Condotti – (Piazza di Spagna) Via del Babbuino, maybe not the cheapest area in the world but here you´ll find the best of the best like Armani, Valentino, Bulgari, La Perla, Tod´s just to mention a few. But of course, you can find some more budget orientated brands like H&M as well and if you get tired why not have a cappuccino at Rosati or Canova. Here below you´ll find some samples of the shop windows.

Seguramente muchas de las capitales en el mundo son perfectas para ir de compras pero como comprenderás mi ciudad favorita es sin duda alguna Roma. Este periodo del año tan especial me gusta mucho ver los escaparates de las tiendas, en busca de aquello que puede alegrar y gustar a alguien o inclusive para mi misma. En Roma hay muchas zonas donde se puede ir de compras pero mi favorita es sin duda la zona de Via del Corso, Via del Babbuino e la famosa Via Condotti; ciertamente no es la zona más barata pero es aquí donde encuentras las mejores firmas como Armani,Valentino, Bulgari, La Perla, Tod’s. Pero también puedes encontrar otras tiendas mas baratas pero reconocidas como H&M y para un descanso no dudes en saborear un cappuccino en Rosati o Canova. Aquí te dejo unas fotos de algunos escaparates.

Sicuramente ci sono molte capitali del mondo dove si puo’ fare del buon shopping ma, come Roma per me non ce n’e´ nessuna. In questo periodo dell’anno poi, le vetrine si vestono di festa ed e’ bello poter andare in cerca di quello che potrebbe piacere a quel qualcuno cosí speciale o addirittura trovare qualcosa per noi stesse. Mi piace molto la zona del Corso, Via del Babbuino e Via Condotti, certamente non e’ la zona meno cara anzi…ma, le vetrine di Armani, Valentino, Bulgari, La Perla, Tod’s insieme a tante altre, mi rapiscono la mente. Comunque, si possono trovare altri tipi di negozi meno cari come H&M e non dimenticati di passare da Canova o Rosati per prenderti un buon cappuccino.

Through my work I spend a lot of time in airports and when I have some spare time I really enjoy walking around and look at the shops, to browse and feel the touch of the clothes that attract me most. Venice airport, Marco Polo, I like a lot and it´s one of my favorites, just stroll through the shops and you almost think you’re in the middle of the city with all the fashion that in gathered in the shop windows.

A menudo, paseo por los aeropuerto por mi trabajo y tengo que decir que me divierte mirar alrededor y sobretodo ir por las tiendas; cuando tengo un poco de tiempo, me gusta curiosear y tocar las prendas que mas me atraen. El aeropuerto de Venecia, Marco Polo, me gusta muchísimo y es uno de mis favoritos, un paseo por sus tiendas y te parece que estas en el centro de la ciudad pues la moda esta’ “resumidas” en sus escaparates.

Spesso, passo per gli aeroporti per via del lavoro che svolgo e, devo dire che mi diverte guardarmi intorno e sopratutto girare per i negozi, quando ho un po’ di tempo, mi piace curiosare e toccare con mano quei capi che mi attirano particolarmente. L’eroporto di Venezia, Marco Polo, mi piace tantissimo, e’ uno dei miei favoriti, una passeggiata nei suoi negozi e ti sembra di essere al centro della citta’: la moda e’ “riassunta” nelle sue vetrine.
