All I Need Is Fuchsia

Non so perché ma il fucsia é un colore che mi ha sempre dato allegria, quando mi sento giù di morale cerco sempre di indossare questo colore. Un colore che non passa inosservato e che si sposa bene con il bianco, il blu o il panna ma anche con il nero. Un look che é un inno all’allegria che quando l’ho indossato mi sono subito sentita meglio. E allora, chi ha detto che i colori non cambiano l’umore?

I don’t know why but fuchsia has always been a colour that makes me happy, if I’m feeling down I always try to wear it. It’s a colour that doesn’t pass unnoticed and that goes well with white, blue or cream but also with black. This look is a hymn to happiness and when I put it on, I immediately felt better. And then, who said that a colour can’t change your mood?

Tie, pashima or scarf? Personally I prefer a well knot tie for a special occasion, but the pashima has become a must for a fashionable man. You can wear it with a jacket or a casual sweater, in any case it gives a casual touch to the look. You don´t see that many men wearing scarfs but pashima is a very good alternative, more sophisticated, for sure, but ultimately is just a variant of more traditional accessories like scarfs and ties. And how to wear it, wrapped like a classic knotted scarf or as a tie? Or maybe something more original?! Anyway, the important thing is to wear it with nonchalance and a bit of irony.

Cravatta, pashima o foulard? Personalmente preferisco una cravatta con un nodo ben fatto e per una occasione speciale ma, la pashima é ormai diventata un must nell’outfit quotidiano di ogni uomo che segue la moda. Si puó portare in modo casual su giacche e maglioni ma, sopratutto permette dargli un look più disinvolto. Gli uomini che indossano il foulard invece non si vedono molto, ma, lo trovo un’ottima variante alla pashima, più sofisticato certamente ma, in fondo non é altro che una variante ai due accessori più tradizionali come lo é la sciarpa o la cravatta. E tu come lo porti? Avvolta come una classica sciarpa, annodata come una normale cravatta? Oppure in qualche variante un po’ più originale e meno vista? L’importante é portarlo con nonchalance e con un pizzico di ironia.

Corbata, pashima o bufanda? Personalmente prefiero una corbata con un nudo bien hecho y para una ocasión especial, pero el pashima se ha convertido en una necesidad del outfit cotidiano para el hombre que sigue la moda. Se puede poner con una chaqueta o con un suéter casual, pero sobre todo permite darle un aspecto más desenfadado. Los hombres que usan los pañuelos no se ven mucho, pero me parece una muy buena opción a la pashima, ciertamente más sofisticado pero, al final no es más que una variante de los dos accesorios más tradicionales como lo es la bufanda o la corbata. ¿Y tu como lo llevas? Envuelta como una clásica bufanda anudada o como una corbata normal? O alguna variante un poco “más original y menos vista? Lo importante es llevarlo con ‘nonchalanche’ y con un poco de ironía.

I can´n live without my sunglasses, so I have quite a few of them as they are important to me. Sometimes it even happens that my friends make fun of me saying something like “as an Italian I have a real obsession with them”, but that´s not really the case. Apart from the fact that sunglasses protects the eyes from bright sunlight they can bring harmony to a face, complete our daily look or outfit, give us certain degree of privacy and some air of mystery. It often happens that when we see someone with sunglasses we ask ourselves: who´s that?

Io non posso vivere senza i miei occhiali da sole, ne ho parecchi e per me e’ un’esigenza. Spesso mi sento “canzonare” dicendomi che come italiana ho la fissa; ma, non e’ cosí; gli occhiali a parte di proteggerci dal sole e dalla luce intensa, ci incorniciano il viso rendendolo piú armonioso, completano il nostro look quotidiano, ci consentono di mantenere il nostro anonimato e ci danno quell’aria misteriosa che ci rende attrattivi a chi ci guarda. Non per altro quando si guarda una persona che porta gli occiali da sole ci domandiamo: chi sará mai?

Yo no puedo vivir sin mis gafas de sol, por esto tengo muchas y para mi es una exigencia. A menudo se “ríen” de mis numerosas gafas diciéndome de que como italiana tengo una verdadera fijación pero, no es así. Las gafas a parte que tienen la función de protegernos del sol y de la luz intensa, nos armonizan el rostro, completan nuestro look de cada día, nos consienten de mantener nuestra privacidad y nos otorgan aquel aire de misterio a los ojos de los que nos miran. The must-have this season is without a doubt the pilot/bomber jacket. Mine is made of leather and really keeps me warm, I wear this outfit together with a casual dress and cowboy boots. It will be essential to have a pair of these boots in your closet next season. Ah! Don´t forget to add a hat in the same style as well, super cool!

Il must-have di questa stagione e´stato senza ombra di dubbio la giacca stile aviatore. La mia e’ in pelle e risulta pratica e termica al massimo, in questo outfit la indosso con un vestito leggero e con gli stivali tipo cowboy che saranno indispensabili per la prossima stagione ormai alle porte. Ah! Non dimenticare di aggiungere un cappello dello stesso stile, sarai super cool!

El must-have de esta temporada ha sido sin lugar a duda la cazadora estilo aviador. La mía es de piel y resulta practica y totalmente térmica, en este outfit la llevo con un vestido ligero y con botas estilo vaquero que serán imprescindible en el armario de la próxima temporada que esta’ por empezar. The Italians have a passion for designer sunglasses and as an Italian so do I, in fact I have a small collection at home myself. An important factor to consider when buying a pair of sunglasses is that they should have quality lenses to protect you eyes. It´s better to buy quality and not a pair of cheap aftermarket glasses made in China with identical design, but not quality, as the originals. I always look for quality glasses with lenses from Luxottica. These lenses you´ll find on sunglasses by Giorgio Armani, Bulgari, Chanel, Burberry, Tiffany, Dolce & Gabbana, Persol, Vogue, Versace and many morel. Another thing to keep in mind when buying new sunglasses is the colour of the lenses: gray, brown and green are suitable to protect from light, pink and purple from dust and for those who like outdoor sports yellow is recommended.

Los italianos tenemos una pasión por las gafas de sol de diseño y como italiana a mi también me fascinan y tengo muchas. Factor importante a tener en cuenta a la hora de comprar un par de gafas de sol es que las lentes tienen que ser de calidad para protegernos de los rayos del sol. Los expertos nos indican de que es necesario no prescindir de la calidad y no caer en la tentación de comprar un par de gafas de fabricación China que a menudo invaden el mercado con diseños idénticos a las firmas más reconocidas. Yo elijo la calidad y siempre miro que tenga la lente de Luxottica, siempre a la vanguardia en los diseños de Giorgio Armani, Bulgari, Chanel, Burberry, Tiffany, Dolce & Gabbana, Persol, Vogue, Versace y muchas más. Otro factor a tener en cuenta a la hora de elegir la lente de nuestras gafas es el color: gris, marron y verde son indicados para proteger de la luz, rosa y violeta para proteger del polvo y para quien le gusta hacer deporte al aire libre esta’ aconsejado el amarillo.

Come italiana che sono, posseggo una collezione di occhiali da sole non indifferente. Da sempre e’ stato per me un accessorio importante ma, da non sottovalutare il fatto che serve a proteggere i nostri occhi dagli effetti nocivi del sole. Gli esperti infatti, sono stanchi di ripetere che la lente dei nostri occhiali da sole deve essere di qualita’. Spesso pero’, accade che, golosi di acquistare un occhiale di un prestigioso stilista, cadiamo nella tentazione di acquistarne uno con lenti fabbricate in Cina e quindi nocivi alla salute poiche’ non proteggono dai raggi UV. Io non risparmio sulla qualita’ e scelgo quelli del marchio Luxottica che mi soddisfano totalmente in quanto a qualita’ e disegno, firme prestigiose come Giorgio Armani, Bulgari, Chanel, Burberry, Tiffany, Dolce & Gabbana, Persol,Vogue,Versace e tante altre. Nella scelta della lente e’ anche importante sapere che colore scegliere: grigio, marrone e verde sono indicati per proteggere dalla luce, rosa o viola per proteggere dalla polvere e per chi ama fare sport all’aperto e’ consigliato l’uso di quelle gialle.
