I´m back and this time with Nuria. She´s exceptional! This time we worked entirely in the studio … as it was raining!

I´ve never been a big fan of  leather, in fact I´ve always consider it a bit too “aggressive”  but over the last couple of years I´ve bought several pieces that can be combined with other types of garments for a great outfit. What do you think of  this red and black look? I bought this passion red jacket earlier this year! Do you like it?

Eccomi di nuovo al lavoro ma, questa volta con Nuria. Eccezionale! Questa volta lo styling è interamente nello studio…vista anche la pioggia!

La pelle non é mai stata la mia alleata infatti l’ho sempre vista come troppo aggressiva o addirittura scontata, eppure, negli ultimi anni mi sono accinta a comprare diversi capi che abbinati con altri tipi di stoffe mi risulta sempre un outfit ben riuscito. Che ne pensate di questo rosso e nero? Il giubbotto l’ho comprato quest’anno di un rosso fuoco.Vi piace?

Ya estoy de vuelta al trabajo, pero esta vez con Nuria. Excepcional! Esta vez el estilo ha sido sacado totalmente en el estudio … también porque estaba lloviendo!

La piel nunca ha sido mi aliado, de hecho, siempre la he visto como agresiva o incluso con algunos look me ha parecido demasiado obvio, sin embargo, en los últimos años he comprado algunas prendas que se las he podido combinar con otros tipos de tejidos y el resultado ha tenido éxito. ¿Qué te parece este rojo y negro? La cazadora la compré este año en rojo pasión. Os gusta?

I always considered that accessories are the most important part of a look, they set the tone and determine the preferences of a person, they are like a trademark. With this styling I wanted  to show you the importance of accessories and how they can convert and completely change a look! I had a great time and as you can see so did the model!

Ho sempre pensato che gli accessori sono la parte più importante del look, quelli che segnano lo stile e che determinano i gusti di una persona insomma, é come il marchio di chi li indossa. Ho voluto in questo mio styling soffermarmi un po’ sugli accessori e vedere che cambiando gli accessori il look cambia totalmente! Mi sono divertita tantissimo e come vedete anche la modella!

Siempre he pensado que los accesorios son la parte más importante del look, las que marcan el estilo y que determinan los gustos de una persona es como su sello. Quería que este styling pudiera hacer reflexionar un poco sobre la importancia de los accesorios y de como pueden convertir y cambiar totalmente el look! Me lo pasé muy bien y como se puede ver la modelo también se lo pasò genial!

Tweed is a fabric that I´ve always liked, that I usually wear during the winter, and I believe that costumes with a classic touch (like the ’60s) are very elegant and feminine. I´m sure that next fall (2013) we’ll see more of this Scottish fabric. One from Gucci is perfect, but go for vintage, I’m sure that your mother has one, a few tweaks here and there, a belt around the jacket to tighten the waist, just as Sophia Loren and of course a pair of stilettos. Il tweed é un tessuto che mi ha sempre accompagnato e che mi é sempre piaciuto indossarlo durante l’inverno. I classici tailleurs degli anni ’60 li trovo eleganti e femminili. Per il prossimo autunno 2013, sono sicura che se ne vedrà più di uno in giro. Quello di Gucci é perfetto, ma cercando nel baule dei ricordi sicuro che ne troviamo uno di nostra madre, qualche ritocco qua e là, una cintura intorno alla giacca per una vita strettissima, come quella di Sofia Loren, e gli immancabili tacchi a spillo. Ringrazio Gloria per lo styling.

El tweed es un tejido que siempre me ha acompañado y que siempre he llevado durante el invierno. Los trajes clásicos de los años ’60 me parecen elegantes y femeninos. Para el otoño de 2013, estoy segura de que veremos más de un traje chaqueta en este tejido escocés. El de Gucci es perfecto, pero buscando en el baúl de los recuerdos, estoy segura de que nos encontramos con el de nuestra madre, algunos retoques aquí y allá, un cinturón alrededor de la chaqueta para una cintura muy estrecha, como la de Sophia Loren, y los inevitable tacones de aguja. Agradezco desde aquí a Gloria por el styling.

Hey guys, this is a styling I did late last summer. A very summery look for this time of year maybe but don´t forget that those following me from the other side of the world have summer right now. As always all the garments are from my own wardrobe, this skirt for example I bought in Rome, the fabric is lightweight and the “crinoline” maintain the shape. I think that this kind of look is perfect for Enza, the outfit blends well with the strong personality of a determinate woman, entrepreneur but especially Mediterranean like her. So, do you like it?

Salve ragazze, questo é un’altro dei miei styling di fine estate. Un look decisamente estivo per questo momento dell’anno ma, per qualcuno che mi segue dall’altra parte del mondo cade a pennello! Come sapete i vestiti che uso per gli styling fanno parte del mio armadio; questa gonna in particolare l’avevo acquistata a Roma, il tessuto é leggero e la crinolina mantiene il movimento ondulatorio. Il risultato con Enza mi é piaciuto moltissimo, anche l’outfit va con la personalità grintosa, di una donna decisa, imprenditrice ma sopratutto mediterranea come lei.Vi piace?

Hola chicas, este es otro de mis styling de finales de verano. Un look muy veraniego para esta época del año, pero para alguien que me sigue en el otro lado del mundo cae como anillo al dedo! Como sabeís, la ropa que uso para mis styling sale de mi armario; esta falda por ejemplo, la compré en Roma, el tejido es ligero y la ‘crinolina’ mantiene el movimiento de balanceo. El resultado con Enza me gustó mucho, en especial el outfit se funde con la personalidad enérgica, de una mujer decidida, emprendedora pero sobre mediterránea como ella.¿Os gusta?

If you have a “little black dress” (simple classic dress) in your wardrobe you never have to worry if you get a last minute invitation, it works for most situations, parties, dates etc. It doesn´t matter if you´re not the “classic type”, what matters is the personal touch and the accessories that will tell who you are. Match it with your favorite jacket, a clutch if you want to be formal or a big bag if you want a sportier look, some hair accessories like a diadem or scarf, a silver necklaces and bracelets will complete your outfit. So if you not already have one, what are you waiting for…

Il classico tubino senza spalline, un vestito che se lo tieni nel tuo armadio ti può salvare dall’invito dell’ultimo minuto, adatto per qualsiasi appuntamento, anche per una serata a due…non importa se sei classica o meno, l’importante é dare quel tocco personale e lo stile é fatto dagli accessori che porterai, la giacca del tuo colore favorito andrà benissimo con il look che vuoi trasmettere, la borsa se é piccola andrà bene per un look più classico e se grande darà quel tocco più sportivo, qualche accessorio per i capelli come un cerchietto, una forcellina o un fermaglio, un foulard colorato e una collana e bracciale per concludere. Non prescindere dal tubino…

El “little black dress” (clásico vestido sencillo) palabra de honor, un vestido que si lo tienes en tu armario puedes sacarte de apuro para esta invitación de última hora, se adapta a cualquier cita, aunque sea por una noche para dos … no importa si no eres clásica, lo importante es el toque personal y tu estilo será marcado por los accesorios, la americana que lleves de tu color favorito se adaptará bien al look, los bolsos pueden ser pequeños para un toque más formal o grande para que sea más esport, algún accesorios para el pelo como diadema, horquillas o pañuelo, fular, collares y pulseras plateados completarán tu outfit. No te quedes sin entonces…

This is the third post where I´m styling Claire with some of my garments. As I mentioned earlier, before I finish my outfits I want to “see” them, but sometimes, as with this one it was all very spontaneously! Given that sequins look better on people that are slim as they highlighting the shape of the wearer Claire is a perfect candidate. If you´re a bit bigger it´s better not to wear glitter on parts of the body that don´t want to highlight. This youthful look works well for girls that like a casual look and comfort. Oh, don´t forget that for this kind of  look high heels are tabu!

Questo é il terzo outfit che ho realizzato, con i capi del mio armadio, per Claire. Come vi ho accennato in altre occasioni, prima di “confezionare” i miei outfits e stylings, li devo necessariamente visualizzare ma, a volte, come é successo in questo di Claire, e´stato come un flash! Partendo dal fatto che le paillettes si adattano molto alle persone magre, poiché illuminano e risaltano la figura, ho pensato che Claire sarebbe stata perfetta per indossarlo; le persone un po’ più in carne devono portare le paillettes in punti del corpo che non si vogliono evidenziare. Questo look giovanile poi, mi sembra molto adatto a ragazze che amano il look casual e la comodità. Ah, per questo look sono assolutamente vietati i tacchi!!

Este es el tercer post que hice, con las prendas de mi armario, para Claire. Como ya he mencionado en otras ocasiones, antes de realizar mi outfits y mi stylings,  necesito visualizarlos, pero en ocasiones, como ha ocurrido con este de Claire, ha sido como un flash! Teniendo en cuenta que las lentejuelas las llevan mejor  personas muy delgadas, ya que destacan la imagen de quien las lleva, pensé que Claire iba a ser una candidata perfecta para llevarlas; para las personas más robusta es preferible que no lleven las lentejuelas en las partes del cuerpo que no quieren resaltar. Este aspecto juvenil, entonces, parece muy adecuado para las chicas que aman el look casual y el confort. Ah, que no se os olvides que con este look están absolutamente prohibidos los tacones!

The other day was a very tough day: beach, sun and styling! And on top of it my friend got sunburned! The sun is very strong now and we´re still only in June, I can´t imagine what the heat will be like in August.

Styling is always present in my daily life, there is always an outfit to prepare, but honestly what I like most is to style others. Claire agreed to that I styled her and that we did some shots as well. There is nothing sexier and juvenile than this eco-leather bustier from Morgan matched with Fornarina jeans and platform sandals. A fresh and provocative look without being vulgar, perfect for a determined woman that knows what she wants. I think that it turned out quite good, what do you think?

L’altro giorno é stata una dura giornata: spiaggia, sole e stilismo! La mia amica si è bruciata la schiena! Il sole incomincia ad essere pungente e siamo solo a Giugno, non posso pensare al caldo che farà ad Agosto.

Lo stilismo è sempre presente nella mia vita e nelle mie giornate c’é sempre un outfit da realizzare ma, sinceramente quello che più mi piace è poterlo fare su altre persone, Claire si è prestata a farsi fotografare e a realizzare questo look con me. Niente di più sexy e giovanile di questo bustier in ecopelle firmato Morgan, abbinato ai jeans strech Fornarina e sandali con plató, un outfit spigliato e non volgare ma, di una donna decisa che sa cosa vuole. Il risultato mi sembra più che ottimo, che ve ne pare?

El otro día ha sido un día duro: playa, sol y estilismo! Mi amiga se ha quemado la espalda! El sol comienza a ser fuerte y sólo estamos en junio, no puedo imaginarme la calor que hará en agosto.

El estilismo està siempre presente en mi vida y en mis días, siempre hay un outfit para hacer, pero, honestamente lo que más me gusta es hacerlo en otras personas; Claire se ha prestado a ser fotografiada y poder lograr este look conmigo. No hay nada más sexy y  juvenil que este corpiño de ecopiel de la firma Morgan, junto con pantalones vaqueros Fornarina y sandalias con plataforma, un look fresco y no vulgar pero, de una mujer decidida y que sabe lo que quiere. El resultado me parece más que acertado, ¿qué te parece?

It´s been quite some time now since I finished my Styling and Personal Shopper training. Among the exercises I did during the course there is one in particular that I´m very satisfied with: the makeover of Sharon. She gave me free hands and we spent a whole day together, the change was amazing, she was very satisfied and I was so glad when I heard that that her husband, friends and colleagues at work were speechless. Thank you very much Sharon for this wonderful day, you´re such a nice person!

E’ gia’ da tempo che ho finito il corso di Estilismo e Personal Shopper. Tra gli esercizi pratici che ho realizzato, uno di quelli che piu’ mi ha entusiasmato e’ certamente il make over di Sharon che si e’ affidata a me senza dubitare e abbiamo passato insieme una giornata intera; il cambio e’ stato fantastico, lei e’ rimasta totalmente soddisfatta e la cosa piu’ bella e’ che suo marito, gli amici ed i colleghi ne sono rimasti esterefatti. Grazie Sharon per la giornata stupenda passata insieme e per la tua simpatia!

Hace tiempo que termine’ el curso de Estilismo y Personal Shopper. Entre los ejercicios prácticos que he realizado, uno ha sido el que más me ha satisfecho: el make over de Sharon. Ha confiado en mí sin dudar y hemos pasado juntas un día entero; el cambio ha sido fantástico, ella quedo’ totalmente satisfecha y la cosa más bonita es que su marido, los amigos y los compañeros de trabajo han quedado bocabierta. Gracias Sharon por este día tan estupendo y por tu simpatía!
