At last I can wear stockings!  It seemed that autumn would never arrive here in Mallorca but finally it did. I love stockings, I feel sexier and they shape the legs, in this outfit I wear them with a lace skirt and a animal print jacket with red lining… I love it!

Finalmente sono riuscita ad indossare le calze! Sembrava proprio che l’autunno non volesse arrivare quí a Maiorca. Adoro le calze, mi fanno sentire più sexy e mi slanciano la gamba, in questo look le ho messe in pizzo come la gonna abbinando il tutto con questa giacca in ‘print animaleur’ con la fodera rossa….l’adoro!

Do you remember that Roberto Cavalli made a collection for H&M? I was in Copenhagen the day it came out in the stores. I wanted to go and have a look at it and touch it with my own hands, so when we arrived at the Radisson I quickly changed and went downtown. I don´t think that I have to tell you that there where people queuing outside the store, I should have imagined that as it was the first day. I liked this dress from the first moment and I kept it like if it was a jewel. I´ve been waiting for the right moment and I was sure that Claire would appreciate to be the first one to wear it, that´s the least one can do for a friend. I´m really happy with the result – she looks like a Greek Goddess!

Vi ricordate quando H&M “sfornó” la collezione di Roberto Cavalli? Io mi trovavo a Copenaghen, ricordo che volevo assolutamente andare a vedere la collezione e poter toccarla con le mie mani, così arrivata al Radisson, mi cambiai subito e giù in città . E’ inutile dirvi che la fila arrivava fin fuori, mi immaginai subito come poteva essere lunga quella fila il primo giorno quando aprirono le porte con la collezione di Cavalli. Devo dire che mi colpì subito questo vestito che fino ad oggi l’ho tenuto come un gioiello. Mi piace avere sempre qualcosa di speciale per essere tirato fuori nel momento ideale come questo; Claire ero sicura che avrebbe apprezzato poterlo indossare e, che privilegio essere la prima a farlo. Per un’amica è il minimo che si possa fare. Che bello è stato vederla come una Dea Greca!

¿Te acuerdas cuando H&M sacó la colección de Roberto Cavalli? Yo estaba en Copenhague, recuerdo que quería ir a ver la colección y  tocarla con mis manos, así que llegamos en el hotel Radisson, me cambié de prisa y bajé a la ciudad. Es  inútil decir que la fila llegaba hasta el exterior del establecimiento, imaginé enseguida como podía ser el primer día que abrieron las puertas con las colección. Debo decir que me quedé enseguida con este vestido que he guardado como si de una joya se tratase. Me gusta tener algo especial para sacarlo en un momento ideal; estaba segura que Claire lo habría apreciado mucho, y que es un privilegio ser la primera en llevarlo. Para un amiga es lo menos que se puede hacer. Me encantó verla como una Diosa Griega!

I could never imagine that I would find a gold dress so light and easy to wear, and it´s even great to use during day time! This affordable one I bought at H&M and as gold is very trendy this spring / summer I’m sure that I´ll be wearing it a lot. Of course it will look better with a bit of sun tan but as the weather is changing a lot I matched it with a black leather jacket for a sportier and more relaxed look. What do you think about the outcome?

Non mi sarei mai immaginata di trovare un vestito dorato cosí leggero e facile da indossare anche di giorno! Questo l’ho comprato da H&M ad un prezzo accessibile e, seguendo la moda di questa primavera/estate, sono sicura che ne farò un buon uso. Certo, con un po’ di abbronzatura mi starà sicuramente meglio ma, in questi giorni ancora incerti, l’ho indossato con questo giubbino in pelle dando al look un tocco un po’ più sportivo e non troppo sofisticato. Che ve ne pare?

Nunca me imaginé encontrar un vestido dorado tan ligero y fácil de llevar, incluso durante el día! Esto me lo compré en H&M a un precio asequible y, siguiendo la moda de esta primavera / verano, estoy segura de que lo llevaré mucho. Por supuesto, con un poco de bronceado sin duda va a quedarme mucho mejor, pero, en estos días tan incierto, me puse la chaqueta de cuero para que el look parezca más deportivo y no demasiado sofisticado. ¿Que os parece?

A dress for every occasion, a shoe for every occasion … I feel like Cinderella, a touch of the magic wand and ready go! Perhaps I´ve already written about shoes and the impact they have on women, but for sure I did not mention that shoes are the soul of women. Rome, the Eternal City, offers unique masterpieces in terms of shoes, just do some window shopping and you can´t help falling in love with them, just as you´ll fall in love with all the monuments!

Forse, ho già parlato delle scarpe e dell’effetto che può avere sulla donna ma, sicuramente non ho accennato che le scarpe sono l’anima della donna. Roma, la Città Eterna, offre dei capolavori unici in quanto a scarpe, basta vedere le sue vetrine e adorarle come i suoi monumenti!

Un traje para cada ocasión, un zapato para cada ocasión … Me siento como la Cenicienta, un toque de varita mágica y ¡listo! Tal vez, ya he hablado de los zapatos y el efecto que pueden tener en las mujeres, pero ciertamente no he mencionado que los zapatos son el alma de la mujer. Roma, la Ciudad Eterna, ofrece unas obras maestras únicas en cuanto a zapatos, con tan sólo mirar sus escaparates caes en adoración, como con sus monumentos!

With the first rays of sun, and if you still haven’t got a nice tan, it can be a bit difficult to know what to wear sometimes, then a long skirt can be a good option. This time I wanted a skirt with a Mexican touch from Tintoretto (that I bought recently) to be the main character of the outfit and I completed the look with a lot of scarves tied together to form a big multi-coloured one. Do you like the idea?

Con i primi raggi di sole e ancora la carnagione chiara é difficile sapere cosa mettersi; la gonna lunga diventa in questi casi una buona scelta. In questo look di oggi ho voluto dargli protagonismo con un tocco un po’ messicano, questa l’ho comprata da poco firmata Tintoretto e ho completato l’outfit con molti foulard annodati insieme formandone uno tutto colorato. Vi piace l’idea?

Con los primeros rayos de sol y una tez todavía tan clara es difícil saber qué ponerse, la falda larga se convierte en una buena opción en estos casos. En este look he querido darle protagonismo con un toque mejicano, esta la que compré hace muy poco de la firma Tintoretto y completé el outfit con un montón de pañuelos atados entre si formando uno de muchos colores. Red is universally known as the colour of LOVE and usually the colour we choose to celebrate Valentine’s Day, this year I wanted to celebrate this day in gold. Gold, gold and gold is a must this year, it´s also the most valuable metal that very few have the privilege to have unlimited access to. I wanted to combine this dress suit with black in order to highlight the brilliance of the gold fabric, and my favorite Gucci shoes, just like I believe that it´s important to cherish and celebrate the important moments in life. February 14 is a date that lovers never forget!

El rojo por excelencia  el color del AMOR y  por lo general es el color que elegimos para celebrar el Día de San Valentín, este año he querido celebrar este día con el dorado. El oro, el oro y el oro es un must de esta temporada pero es también el metal mas valioso. Poder envolverse con este material es, sin duda, un privilegio de pocos. I´ve never been too fond of jeans but over the years I´ve learned to like them, perhaps because nowadays they are better adapted to be comfortable for women. Anyway, these are from MET and I just love them, they fit like a glove and… well, they´re just perfect!

It´s like a daydream … to watch the sunset is a everyday miracle that we not always have time to appreciate. Transparent is a must this summer and Alberta Ferretti for instance knows how to interpret this in her collections, inspired by fairy tales and princesses. Today I felt like wearing something like that so I picked out this two-piece dress with faint flower print for a walk in Puerto Portals with my husband. What else can I ask for?

Sto sognando ad occhi aperti… guardare il sole che si nasconde laggiú e´un miracolo che avviene ogni giorno e che spesso ci perdiamo.Questa stagione  vanno molto  le  trasparenze, Alberta Ferretti e´un esempio che ha interpretato nelle sue sfilate le  fate e le  principesse delle favole , cosí mi sono sentita  io oggi con questo vestito composto di due pezzi a fiori tenui,  l’ho ritrovato nel mio armadio e l’ho indossato per una  serata romantica  vicino al porto di Portals dove mi sono recata  a contemplare il tramonto con la piacevole compagnia di mio marito. Cos’e´che potrei chiedere di piú?

Estoy soñando con los ojos abiertos…mirar el sol que se esconde allí al final es un milagro de cada día y  que muchas veces nos perdemos. Las trasparencias son un must de esta temporada, Alberta Ferretti es un ejemplo que ha sabido interpretar en sus desfiles las hadas y las princesas de los cuentos, así me he sentido yo hoy con este vestido compuesto de dos piezas con tenues flores que recuperé en mi armario y que se adapta para un paseo en Puerto Portals  contemplando el  tramonto junto a la compañía de mi marido. ¿Que más podría pedir?

I can´n live without my sunglasses, so I have quite a few of them as they are important to me. Sometimes it even happens that my friends make fun of me saying something like “as an Italian I have a real obsession with them”, but that´s not really the case. Apart from the fact that sunglasses protects the eyes from bright sunlight they can bring harmony to a face, complete our daily look or outfit, give us certain degree of privacy and some air of mystery. It often happens that when we see someone with sunglasses we ask ourselves: who´s that?

Io non posso vivere senza i miei occhiali da sole, ne ho parecchi e per me e’ un’esigenza. Spesso mi sento “canzonare” dicendomi che come italiana ho la fissa; ma, non e’ cosí; gli occhiali a parte di proteggerci dal sole e dalla luce intensa,  ci incorniciano il viso rendendolo piú armonioso, completano il nostro look quotidiano, ci consentono di mantenere il nostro anonimato e ci danno quell’aria misteriosa che ci rende attrattivi a chi ci guarda. Non per altro quando si guarda una persona che porta gli occiali da sole ci domandiamo: chi sará mai?

Yo no puedo vivir sin mis gafas de sol, por esto tengo muchas y para mi es una exigencia. A menudo se “ríen” de mis numerosas gafas diciéndome de que como italiana tengo una verdadera fijación  pero, no es así. Las gafas a parte que tienen la función de protegernos del sol y de la luz intensa, nos armonizan el rostro, completan nuestro look de cada día, nos consienten de mantener nuestra privacidad y nos otorgan aquel aire de misterio a los ojos de los que nos miran. A menudo pasa que cuando miramos a alguien que lleva gafas de sol, nos preguntamos: quien será?
