One more opportunity for me to do something I really have a passion for, styling.

I mentioned some time ago that I was looking for some short dungarees, but it had to be the “right” ones… and here they are! I remember that when I was small my mother tied the straps with ease, but at the end they were always twisted and remained like that, but now that I´m a grown up I´m able to tie them myself. Anyway, these in denim are comfortable and suit (and look good on) everyone. I think it’s the most used fabric in the world! A sunny day in the nature reading a magazine, this is today´s picture!

P. S. Oh, don´t you think that the model looks like Sophia Loren?

Un’altro stilismo, un’altro motivo per giocare con la mia grande passione.

Vi avevo parlato da poco di desiderare una salopette corta, una che mi piacesse e che mi soddisfacesse al cento per cento…ed eccola! Fin da piccola l’ho portata e, ricordo che la mia mamma mi allacciava quelle bretelle con facilitá ma, mi si rigiravano sempre con il risultato che rimanevano sempre storte. Adesso, che ho la capacitá di farlo anch’io, non me ne privo. Eccola, in jeans, quella stoffa che risulta comoda a tutti e che va bene con tutto e su tutti. Penso che sia la stoffa più usata al mondo! Una giornata di sole, in mezzo al verde con una rivista in mano: questa é la mia foto di oggi!

P.S. Ah, non vi sembra anche a voi che la modella assomigli alla ineguagliabile Sofia Loren?

Otro estilismo, otra razón para jugar con mi gran pasión.

Yo había mencionado recientemente de querer un mono corto, uno que me gustaba y que me iba a satisfacerme al cien por cien … y aquí está! Desde que era niña y lo llevaba, me acuerdo de que mi madre me ataba los tirantes con facilidad, pero siempre estaban dando vueltas y así, se me quedaban siempre torcidas. Ahora, tengo la habilidad necesaria para hacerlo yo misma, y no me quedo sin. Aquí está, en vaquero, aquella tela que resulta cómoda para todos y que va bien con todo y a todo el mundo. Creo que es el tejido más utilizado en el mundo! Un día soleado, en el bosque, con una revista en la mano: esta es mi foto de hoy!

P. S. Ah, ¿No te parece que la modelo se parece a la inigualable Sophia Loren?

“What are the colours of the rainbow?” my daughter asked me when she saw me wearing this jersey, and I said “We’ll have a look at it together …. let’s see if the jersey has got them all.” A coloured outfit to end the summer, until next time!

“Quali sono i colori dell’arcobaleno?” Mi chiese mia figlia quando indossai questo maglioncino di filo sottile, e io gli risposi: ” Elenchiamoli insieme…guardiamo se il maglione li ha tutti!” Un outfit colorato per salutare l’estate, arrivederci quindi!

“Cuales son los colores del arcoiris?” Me pregunto’ mi hija cuando me vio’ llevar este jersey de hilo, y yo le conteste’: “Repasamolos juntos….a ver si en el jersey faltan algunos de los colores”. Un outfit lleno de color para saludar el verano, así que, hasta luego entonces!

Sometimes in August when the heat is unbearable you want to wear something light that allows your body to breathe. Especially in the city an overall is an ideal garment, it´s easy to wear and it´s fashionable. This one, made of cotton, with flower print from Pepe Jeans I bought earlier this summer. If it´s a bit chilly at night you can always match it with a cardigan or shawl for an informal night out. Perfect to bring on your holidays.

In questi giorni di Agosto che, il caldo e´pressoché soffocante cerchiamo di indossare qualcosa che ci permetta respirare. Sopratutto, se ci troviamo in cittá, una tutina risulta un capo ideale, facile, semplice e alla moda. Questa che indosso é a fiori di Pepe Jeans in cotone fresco che ho acquistato all’ inizio della stagione. Nei luoghi dove rinfresca la sera, si può indossare per una serata informale con l’aggiunta di un golfino o uno scialle. Un capo perfetto da portare in valigia per le nostre vacanze.

En estos días de Agosto que, el calor es insoportable, queremos llevar algo que nos permitas respirar. Sobre todo, si nos encontramos en la ciudad, un mono resulta una prenda ideal, fácil, simple y de moda. Esta que llevo es floreada de Pepe Jeans en algodón fresco que compré al principio de temporada. En los lugares donde refresca por la noche, se puede llevar para una noche informal conjuntándolo con una rebeca o un chal. Perfecto para incluirlo en la maleta de nuestras vacaciones.

Downtown Shopping – Bilbao Spring 2011

This spring I had the opportunity to visit Bilbao, a city in northern Spain´s Basque Country, it´s a city that has a lot to offer if you love shopping. Walking down the “Gran Via” full of well known shops and brands was nice, but I also enjoyed getting lost on the small side streets where you find interesting alternatives especially if you´re looking for something original. People in general are very well dressed in a elegant way, this goes for all ages from the mother passing her baby in a vintge stroller to the elderly.

ITALIANO/

Questa primavera, ho avuto l’occasione di trovarmi nella citta’ di Bilbao, situata al nord della Spagna, precisamente nei Paesi Baschi, e´una citta’ che offre molto in quanto allo shopping. Mi piace attraversare la sua ”Gran Via”, piena di negozi di firme conosciute ma, anche nelle viuzze, sparse quá e la,´che offrono altrettanto alternative interessanti per chi ama trovare qualcosa di originale. Per le strade ,la gente va ben vestita e si vede che ci tiene molto a mostrarsi elegante e raffinata, cio´si vede dalla mamma che porta a spasso il suo bambino, mostrando carrozzelle che ricordano tempi passati e persone di ogni eta’, che sfoggiano il loro aspetto quasi invidiabile.

Esta primavera he tenido la ocasión de quedarme en Bilbao, ciudad del norte de España, en los Países Vascos, es una ciudad que ofrece mucho para quien ama el shopping. Me gusta pasear por su gran vía llena de tiendas conocidas pero, también disfruto perdiéndome en las callecitas donde encuentras alternativas interesantes sobre todo si busca algo original. Por las calles la gente va impecable y se nota en sus prendas elegantes y refinadas, esto lo puedes observar desde la mama ´que lleva su bebe ´en unos carritos casi de otros tiempos y también en la gente de todas las edades que enseñan un aspecto casi envidiable.

In Uniform (as usual)

Due to my work in aviation I wear uniform a lot and I have to admit that I like it for several reasons. First of all it looks good on almost everyone and you don’t have to think about what to wear but there is an air of mystery and elegance about it as well. The fashion this season offers us the possibility to be an officer, a flight attendant or whatever you feel like. This is the fun part of fashion!

Esta’ claro que el uniforme es unas de las prendas que mas llevo por trabajo y tengo que admitir que me gusta por varias razones. No solamente queda bien a casi todos, sino que te quita el tiempo que perdería buscando que ponerte, además te da aquel aire de misterio, fascinante y elegante. Por esto la moda de esta temporada ofrece la posibilidad de entrar en el rol de un teniente o una azafata de vuelo o de cualquier otra cosa; esta es la parte divertida de la moda!

E’ chiaro che la divisa e’ uno dei capi che piu’ indosso per via del lavoro e devo dire che mi piace per vari motrivi. Non solo sta bene quasi a tutti, ti toglie il tempo que altrimenti uaseresti a pensare cosa metterti ma, ti da quel non so che di misterioso, altivo e affascinante. Per questo la moda di quest’anno offre anche a te la possibilita’ di immedesimarti nei panni di un ufficiale o un hostess o di qualsiasi altro personaggio”; questa e’ la parte divertente della moda!
