Farewell Palma – Hasta Siempre!

Hi everyone, it’s been quite some time since I posted something, but I have a good excuse, I´m moving to Stockholm! The last month and a half has been very tiring, it´s always a lot of work moving and as I´ve been living for so many years in Spain there are lot of things to clean out. As from Thursday I´ll be living in (and blogging from) the Swedish capital where I´ll be more involved in fashion and trends than here in Mallorca. So this is the last post from Palma de Mallorca and my goodbye to the island in the sun!

These photos were taken on a hot afternoon in the center of the city, I wear a basic outfit, striped skirt matched with shoes that has coral as the dominated colour that is so fashionable this summer. I hope that you like the look! Greetings and the next one will be from Sweden!

Salve a tutti/e, é un po’ di tempo che non scrivo nulla sul blog, lo so anche troppo ma, il motivo é più che giustificato il trasloco a Stoccolma! L’ultimo mese e mezzo é stato molto stancante, ebbene un trasloco non é cosa facile sopratutto se si realizza dopo tanti anni. Voglio solo dirvi che da Stoccolma sarò più presente anche perché, ci saranno molte più opportunità riguardo la moda e le tendenze. Ho voluto lasciarvi un ultimo post da Palma di Maiorca per salutarvi dall’isola del sole!

Le foto sono state scattate in un caldo pomeriggio nel centro della città, indosso un outfit semplice, gonna a righe che richiamano i colori della scarpe dove prevale il color corallo che va tanto di moda questa stagione, spero vi piaccia, un saluto e alla prossima in Svezia! Ciao

Hola a tod@s, ya es tiempo que no escribo nada en el blog, pero tengo una buena razón, el traslado a Estocolmo! El último mes y medio ha sido muy agotador, un traslado no es cosa fácil, especialmente si ocurre después de tantos años. Sólo os quiero decir que voy a estar más presente desde Estocolmo porque habrá muchas más oportunidades sobre la moda y las tendencias. Os dejo el último post desde Palma de Mallorca para despedirme de la isla del sol!

Las fotos fueron tomadas en una tarde calurosa en el centro de la ciudad, llevo un outfit simple, falda a rayas combinada con estos zapatos donde predomina el color coral que está tan de moda esta temporada, espero que os guste, un saludo y a la próxima desde Suecia!

At Mulberry’s Opening Party

Last Thursday I was invited to the opening party of the Mulberry shop in Palma de Mallorca, located right in the heart of the city. It´s not the first time that I refer to Mulberry, their bags are great, made with premium leather and during the party an artisan was showing how the leather is prepared to be cut. For the occasion I chose a bright strapless empire-style gown and electric blue platform sandals made of suede (first time I used them). A special night where, among other things, I met people that I haven´t seen since I stopped flying.

Giovedì scorso sono stata invitata all’inaugurazione del negozio di Mulberry a Palma di Maiorca in pieno centro città. Non é certamente la prima volta che faccio riferimento alla Maison Mulberry, le sue borse sono eccezionali in quanto sopratutto alla pelle utilizzata, a tale proposito era stato addirittura invitato un artigiano che mostró il taglio del pellame. Per l’occasione ho scelto un abito lungo luminoso stile impero senza spalline e dei sandali in camoscio blu elettrico con plateau che indossavo per la prima volta. Una serata speciale dove fra l’altro ho rivisto persone a me care di quando lavoravo come air hostess.

El jueves pasado me invitaron a la inauguración de la tienda de Mulberry en Palma de Mallorca en pleno centro de la ciudad. No es ciertamente la primera vez que hago referencia a la Maison Mulberry, sus bolsos son fantásticos hecho con piel de primera, en la tienda un artesano estuvo mostrando como se realizaba el corte de la piel. Para la ocasión elegí un vestido largo brillante sin tirantes estilo imperio con unas sandalias de gamuza azul eléctrico de plataforma que puse por primera vez. Una noche especial donde, entre otras cosas, encontré a gente que no veía desde cuando estaba trabajando como azafata de vuelo.

Downtown Shopping Palma (1)

Hola chicas, esta vez os quiero llevar por las tiendas del centro de Palma de Mallorca. Esta’ claro que no es una grande ciudad pero, os puedo asegurar que hay tiendas muy bonitas, tanto de firmas de prestigio y conocidas como otras no tan conocidas pero muy atractivas. Me gusta pasear por Palma pues todo está’ tan cerca y te puedes perder por sus callecitas donde de repente tropiezas con pequeñas boutiques y tiendecitas que llaman la atención de cualquiera. El Paseo del Born y Jaime III son calles conocidas para el shopping pero, más adelante os enseñare’ otros lugares más escondidos pero muy interesantes.

Hi girls, this time we´ll have a look at the shops in the most central parts of Palma. The city might not be so big but there are some very nice shops, both from the well known brands as others not so well known. I really like walking around in Palma, discovering the small side streets where you suddenly find that special small boutique. Later this spring I´ll tell you more about some hidden treasures, but let´s start with a part of the city that I´m sure that you will spend some time in on your next visit; Passeig de Born and Jaume III.

Ciao ragazze, questa volta vi voglio portare in giro per i negozi nel centro di Palma di Maiorca. Certamente non e’ una grande metropoli ma, vi posso assicurare che ci sono negozi carinissimi, sia firme prestigiose e conosciutissime ed altre un po’ meno ma altrettanto invitanti. Mi piace girare per Palma e’ tutto a portata di mano e ti puoi perdere per le sue viuzze dove d’improvviso trovi quello che cercavi o ti trovi di fronte a piccole boutiques e negozietti che invitano ad entrare a chiunque. Il Paseo del Born e Jaime III sono ben conosciuti per lo shopping ma, piu’ avanti vi faro’ vedere altri luoghi piu’ nascosti ma altrettanto interessanti.
