Tweed is a fabric that I´ve always liked, that I usually wear during the winter, and I believe that costumes with a classic touch (like the ’60s) are very elegant and feminine. I´m sure that next fall (2013) we’ll see more of this Scottish fabric. One from Gucci is perfect, but go for vintage, I’m sure that your mother has one, a few tweaks here and there, a belt around the jacket to tighten the waist, just as Sophia Loren and of course a pair of stilettos. Il tweed é un tessuto che mi ha sempre accompagnato e che mi é sempre piaciuto indossarlo durante l’inverno. I classici tailleurs degli anni ’60 li trovo eleganti e femminili. Per il prossimo autunno 2013, sono sicura che se ne vedrà più di uno in giro. Quello di Gucci é perfetto, ma cercando nel baule dei ricordi sicuro che ne troviamo uno di nostra madre, qualche ritocco qua e là, una cintura intorno alla giacca per una vita strettissima, come quella di Sofia Loren, e gli immancabili tacchi a spillo. El tweed es un tejido que siempre me ha acompañado y que siempre he llevado durante el invierno. Los trajes clásicos de los años ’60 me parecen elegantes y femeninos. Para el otoño de 2013, estoy segura de que veremos más de un traje chaqueta en este tejido escocés. El de Gucci es perfecto, pero buscando en el baúl de los recuerdos, estoy segura de que nos encontramos con el de nuestra madre, algunos retoques aquí y allá, un cinturón alrededor de la chaqueta para una cintura muy estrecha, como la de Sophia Loren, y los inevitable tacones de aguja. Agradezco desde aquí a Gloria por el styling.

To be  totally honest, I don´t like to draw the attention when I shot my outfits so I always try to find a quiet place that is not so crowded when possible. These photos were shot around 7 pm and it was very hot so I took the opportunity to wear this light suede dress. Here in Mallorca it´s still warm and even though all shop windows are full of the new fall collections I enjoy wearing my summer wardrobe.

Sinceramente non mi piace richiamare l’attenzione su di me, infatti quando preparo le foto per il mio outfit, cerco sempre un posto lontano dai curiosi ed a ore meno transitate. Quando ho scattato queste foto erano le sette del pomeriggio, faceva ancora caldo, ne ho approfittato per indossare questo vestito in pelle scamosciata leggero, il tempo quí a Maiorca ci regala ancora delle giornate estive stupende ed anche se i negozi  ci offrono  un abbigliamento pressoché autunnale , io mi diverto ancora con i miei capi estivi.

A ser sincera, no me gusta llamar la atención sobre mí y cuando preparo mis outfits, intento siempre buscar sitios un poco apartados y en horarios con pocas afluencia. Cuando he sacado estas fotos eran la siete de la tarde, hacía mucho calor y he aprovechado para llevar este vestido de antelina  ligero, aquí en Mallorca hay días tan espectaculares como el de hoy y aunque las tiendas nos ofrece prendas otoñales, yo me divierto todavía llevando mis prendas veraniega.

I´m really waiting for the summer to arrive, although we can still expect some days when we´ll have to wear a jersey, one thing is for sure, the summer is almost here and we all need to renew our wardrobe a bit to be fashionable. So, here is a list of some must-haves: a long dress (hippie or boho style) with floral print when you go to the beach (D&G, Pucci, Just Cavalli, Etro),  jeans or white shorts (Ralph Lauren, Balmain, Tommy Hilfiger), short asymmetric top above the belly button (Michael Kors, Band of Outsiders, Missoni, DKNY), a masculine shirt to be used instead of a sarong (Tommy Hilfiger), sarong skirt (Iceberg), culotte bikini (Calzedonia, Golden Point, Porzia T, Levante), block colored trousers (Fendi, Giambattista Valli), a pair of sandals with ankle straps or ballerinas (Chloe), high platform shoes (Hermes) and a ballerina style dress with lots of tulle for the evenings (Chloe, Mango). It´s easy to match these with each other and they are easy to take on your next holidays.

Sono ormai ansiosa che arrivi l’estate, anche se si prevedono giorni incerti,   forse dovremo rimettere mano al nostro golfino ma, una cosa e’ certa , l’estate e’ alle porte e abbiamo bisogno di rinnovarci un po’ per essere alla moda. Dunque, eccovi la lista dei capi indispensabili: un vestito lungo a fiori, stile hippy o boho  per una passeggiata lungomare (D&G, Pucci, Just Cavalli, Etro), jeans short o bianco (Ralph Lauren, Balmain, Tommy Hilfiger), top asimmetrico  e al di sopra dell’ombelico (Michael Kors, Band of Outsiders, Missoni, DKNY) una camicia maschile da indossare come copricostume (Tommy Hilfiger), una gonna pareo (Iceberg), un costume due pezzi con culotte (Calzedonia, Golden Point, Porzia T, Levante), un pantalone fluo (Fendi, Giambattista Valli), un paio di sandali con il cinturino alla caviglia o una ballerina leggera (Chloe) e uno zatterone alto con plateau (Hermes) e per la sera indossa un vestito nude stile ballerina (Chloe, Mango). Il tutto combinabile e facile da mettere in valigia per la tua prossima vacanza.

Estoy ansiosa para que llegue por fin el verano, aunque se prevén días incierto y volveremos a meter mano al jersey, una cosa es cierta, el verano esta’ por llegar y tenemos que renovarnos un poco para seguir la  moda. Entonces, aquí os dejo la lista de las prendas indispensable: un vestido largo de flores estilo hippy o boho para hacer tu paseo en la playa (D&G, Pucci, Just Cavalli, Etro), vaquero o pantalón corto blanco (Ralph Lauren, Balmain, Tommy Hilfiger), top asimétrico y corto encima del ombligo (Michael Kors, Band of Outsiders, Missoni, DKNY), una camisa masculina que utilizaras envés del pareo de siempre (Tommy Hilfiger), una falda pareo (Iceberg), un bikini con culotte (Calzedonia, Golden Point, Porzia T, Levante), un pantalón color block (Fendi, Giambattista Valli),
un par de sandalia con tira al tobillo o unas bailarinas ligera(Chloe) y un zapato alto con plataforma (Hermes) y para la noche lleva un vestido estilo bailarina con muchos tul (Chloe, Mango). Todo combina entre sí y es fácil para llevarlos en la maleta de tus próxima vacaciones.

I am proud to be Italian! When I see real works of art as these I feel the artistic flair and sense for beauty in the veins of the Italians. Rome is recognized as a city full of art and history, millions of tourists are coming from all over the world every year to see the eternal city, noisy yes, but with an incredible charisma that conquers your heart and takes you on a historical ride, not for nothing they say “see Rome and die. ”

Mi sento orgogliosa di essere italiana! Quando vedo vere opere d’arte come queste, sento la vena artistica  e il senso della bellezza che scorre nelle vene degli italiani. Roma e’ risaputo che e’ la citta’ d’arte per eccellenza, fiumi di turisti provenienti da tutte le parti del mondo si danno appuntamento in questa eterna citta’, caotica sí, ma, con un carisma eccezionale che ti ruba l’anima e ti trasporta nei secoli passati; non per altro si dice: “vedi Roma e poi muori”.

¡Me siento orgullosa de ser italiana! Cuando veo verdaderas obras de arte como estas, siento la vena artística y el sentido de la belleza que fluye en la sangre de los italianos. Roma es de conocimiento de todos que es la ciudad del arte en absoluto, ríos de turistas que llegan desde cualquier parte del mundo  se dan cita en la eterna ciudad, ruidosa sí, pero con un carisma increíble que te roba el alma y te lleva en los siglos pasados; no por nada se dice: ” ves Roma y luego te mueres”.

Hola chicas, esta vez os quiero llevar por las tiendas del centro de Palma de Mallorca. Esta’ claro que no es una grande ciudad pero, os puedo asegurar que hay tiendas muy bonitas, tanto de firmas de prestigio y conocidas como otras no tan conocidas pero muy atractivas. Me gusta pasear por Palma pues todo está’ tan cerca y te puedes perder por sus callecitas donde de repente tropiezas con pequeñas boutiques y tiendecitas que llaman la atención de cualquiera. El Paseo del Born y Jaime III son calles conocidas para el shopping pero, más adelante os enseñare’ otros lugares más escondidos pero muy interesantes.

Hi girls, this time we´ll have a look at the shops in the most central parts of Palma. The city might not be so big but there are some very nice shops, both from the well known brands as others not so well known. I really like walking around in Palma, discovering the small side streets where you suddenly find that special small boutique. Later this spring I´ll tell you more about some hidden treasures, but let´s start with a part of the city that I´m sure that you will spend some time in on your next visit; Passeig de Born and Jaume III.

Ciao ragazze, questa volta vi voglio portare in giro per i negozi nel centro di Palma di Maiorca. Certamente non e’ una grande metropoli ma, vi posso assicurare che ci sono negozi carinissimi, sia firme prestigiose e conosciutissime ed  altre un po’ meno ma altrettanto invitanti. Mi piace girare per Palma e’ tutto a portata di mano e ti puoi perdere per le sue viuzze dove d’improvviso trovi quello che cercavi o ti trovi di fronte a piccole boutiques e negozietti che invitano ad entrare a chiunque. Il Paseo del Born e Jaime III sono ben  conosciuti  per lo shopping ma, piu’ avanti vi faro’ vedere altri luoghi piu’ nascosti ma altrettanto interessanti.
