There are combinations that are just perfect! Leaving modesty aside, I´ve been looking for a beige coat for a long time. Beige is a great colour, you can match beige with everything, it´s elegant and perfect with any outfit. In this outfit everything is new: the knitted fur waistcoat, the skirt from Adolfo Domínguez ​​with transparent “petals” of different colours, and what can I say about the Furla bag, I just love it (as well it can be worn on the shoulder for a more casual look). Shoes with animal print are a must this year and although these heels are very high I had no problem wearing them the whole day but I had a pair of ballerinas in the bag just in case… At first sight it looks like the stockings have been stained but if you look closer you´ll see that it´s not the case. I believe that this outfit was perfect for a very special day. What about you, what do you think? Do you like it?

Ci sono accostamenti che risultano semplicemente perfetti! Modesti a parte, il giaccone lo cercavo da tempo e mi mancava nel mio armadio, il beige e´un colore che abbini con tutto e risulta elegante e perfetto con qualsiasi capo. Questo outfit é assolutamente tutto nuovo: il gilet in pelliccia, la gonnellina di Adolfo Dominguez che sembra che é stata confezionata con petali trasparenti di diverse nuance e poi che dire del borsone della Furla, assolutamente fantastico, si può portare anche a tracolla grazie alla banda marrone e quindi in modo più sportivo, che dire poi delle scarpe un must di quest’anno per il suo animalier print, anche se altissime le ho portate con disinvoltura per tutta la giornata alla feria anche se pensavo, al contrario, che  non avessi potuto resistere per tutta la giornata;  mi ero munita, infatti, di ballerine speciali piegabili che portavo nella borsa ma, che ripeto non ho dovuto usare. Le collant che indosso mi sembrano originalissime, sembrano  schizzate dal fango! Insomma ancora una volta ho azzeccato il mio lok per una giornata tutta speciale. e tu che ne pensi? Ti piace?

Hay combinaciones que son simplemente perfectas! Dejamos la modestia a parte, el abrigo lo estube buscando desde hace mucho tiempo en este color y que faltaba en mi armario, el color beige que combina con todo, resulta elegante y perfecto con cualquier prenda. Este outfit es absolutamente todo lo nuevo: el chaleco hecho de punto y pelo, la falda de Adolfo Domínguez, que parece que ha sido confeccionada  con pétalos transparentes de diferentes tonos, y que decir del bolso de Furla, absolutamente fantástico, también puede llevarse cruzado con la banda marrón y le da un aire  más deportivo, ademas los zapatos son un must de esta temporada con su estampado animal, a pesar de que tienen unos tacones de vértigo lo llevé  durante todo el día sin problema, en principio pensaba que no hubiese podido llevarlos todo el día así que me llevé en el bolso unas bailarinas plegables para cuando me hubiese sido imposible llevar estos tacones, pero, repito que no me hicieron falta. Las medís parecen que hayan sido manchadas por haber sido salpicadas! Así que una vez mas acerté con el look para un día muy especial. Y a tí ¿qué te parece? ¿Te ha gustado?

To be  totally honest, I don´t like to draw the attention when I shot my outfits so I always try to find a quiet place that is not so crowded when possible. These photos were shot around 7 pm and it was very hot so I took the opportunity to wear this light suede dress. Here in Mallorca it´s still warm and even though all shop windows are full of the new fall collections I enjoy wearing my summer wardrobe.

Sinceramente non mi piace richiamare l’attenzione su di me, infatti quando preparo le foto per il mio outfit, cerco sempre un posto lontano dai curiosi ed a ore meno transitate. Quando ho scattato queste foto erano le sette del pomeriggio, faceva ancora caldo, ne ho approfittato per indossare questo vestito in pelle scamosciata leggero, il tempo quí a Maiorca ci regala ancora delle giornate estive stupende ed anche se i negozi  ci offrono  un abbigliamento pressoché autunnale , io mi diverto ancora con i miei capi estivi.

A ser sincera, no me gusta llamar la atención sobre mí y cuando preparo mis outfits, intento siempre buscar sitios un poco apartados y en horarios con pocas afluencia. Cuando he sacado estas fotos eran la siete de la tarde, hacía mucho calor y he aprovechado para llevar este vestido de antelina  ligero, aquí en Mallorca hay días tan espectaculares como el de hoy y aunque las tiendas nos ofrece prendas otoñales, yo me divierto todavía llevando mis prendas veraniega.

I´m really waiting for the summer to arrive, although we can still expect some days when we´ll have to wear a jersey, one thing is for sure, the summer is almost here and we all need to renew our wardrobe a bit to be fashionable. So, here is a list of some must-haves: a long dress (hippie or boho style) with floral print when you go to the beach (D&G, Pucci, Just Cavalli, Etro),  jeans or white shorts (Ralph Lauren, Balmain, Tommy Hilfiger), short asymmetric top above the belly button (Michael Kors, Band of Outsiders, Missoni, DKNY), a masculine shirt to be used instead of a sarong (Tommy Hilfiger), sarong skirt (Iceberg), culotte bikini (Calzedonia, Golden Point, Porzia T, Levante), block colored trousers (Fendi, Giambattista Valli), a pair of sandals with ankle straps or ballerinas (Chloe), high platform shoes (Hermes) and a ballerina style dress with lots of tulle for the evenings (Chloe, Mango). It´s easy to match these with each other and they are easy to take on your next holidays.

Sono ormai ansiosa che arrivi l’estate, anche se si prevedono giorni incerti,   forse dovremo rimettere mano al nostro golfino ma, una cosa e’ certa , l’estate e’ alle porte e abbiamo bisogno di rinnovarci un po’ per essere alla moda. Estoy ansiosa para que llegue por fin el verano, aunque se prevén días incierto y volveremos a meter mano al jersey, una cosa es cierta, el verano esta’ por llegar y tenemos que renovarnos un poco para seguir la  moda. I was hoping for a week in Rome with good weather but unfortunately the sun was only shinning the last day. The first day I walked down the well known Via del Corso to Piazza Colonna and stopped for a while at Galleria Alberto Sordi to have a look at the shops. Luckily I was wearing boots and my leather jacket that I brought just in case, having the unstable weather this time of year in mind.

Speravo che la settimana passata a Roma il tempo fosse bello ed invece solo l’ultimo giorno il sole ha fatto capolino. Quindi, il primo giorno in giro con l’ombrello, sono andata al centro e mi sono fatta  tutta Via del Corso sotto la pioggia, mi sono soffermata sotto il portico di piazza Colonna dove hanno aperto gia’ da qualche anno una galleria con negozi, la Galleria  Alberto Sordi, cosí si chiama; meno male che mi ero portata gli stivaletti ed il giubbino in pelle che avevo messo in valigia proprio pensando al tempo instabile di questo periodo quando bisogna vestirsi, come ben dice mia madre “a cipolla”.

Deseaba una semana en Roma con buen tiempo pero, al contrario el sol lo vi solamente el ultimo día. El primer día paseando por la famosa Via del Corso,  llegué a Plaza Columna y debajo del pórtico de la Galería Alberto Sordi, me quedé un rato a ver las tiendas; menos mal que llevaba los botines y mi chaqueta de piel que puse en la maleta pensando al tiempo inestable típico de esta temporada cuando hay que vestirse a capas.

Today is very cold but there is a beautiful sun shining and it makes me think of spring! The pret á porter collections spring-summer 2011 are full of colours so prepare to get some garments with asymmetric cuts, ruffles and overalls that remind me of confetti, colours like acid green, orange, red, purple and pink on animal print, geometric shapes, dots, squares and many, many flowers. Oggi e’ una giornata fredda ma,  con un sole incredibile, mi fa pensare gia’ alla primavera!  Le collezioni pret á porter primavera-estate 2011 stanno arrivando con l’esplosione dei colori. Preparatevi il budget per acquistare vestiti asimmetrici, con volants  e tutine che ricordano i coriandoli, colori come il verde limone, l’arancione, il rosso, il viola e il rosa su stampati animale, forme geometriche, pois, quadretti e tanti, tanti fiori. Hoy es un día muy frio pero con un sol increíble, esto me hace pensar ya  a la primavera! Las colecciones pret á porter primavera-verano 2011 llegan con la explosión de colores.
