At last I can wear stockings!  It seemed that autumn would never arrive here in Mallorca but finally it did. I love stockings, I feel sexier and they shape the legs, in this outfit I wear them with a lace skirt and a animal print jacket with red lining… I love it!

Finalmente sono riuscita ad indossare le calze! Sembrava proprio che l’autunno non volesse arrivare quí a Maiorca. Adoro le calze, mi fanno sentire più sexy e mi slanciano la gamba, in questo look le ho messe in pizzo come la gonna abbinando il tutto con questa giacca in ‘print animaleur’ con la fodera rossa….l’adoro!

Last summer we´ve seen all kinds of stripes; horizontal, vertical, crossed, thin, thick and even zigzag. On one hand I really like them but on the other they remind me of the apron that I had to wear every day in elementary school! Anyway, what do you think of my outfit from the green mountains of Canazei?

Fringes always make me think of Flappers and the 20s, you know… Charleston, bright dresses, sequins and fringes. As a child I used to play with my sister and we borrowed our mother´s clothes, she had a straight black dress with fringe, braces and pearls, I felt like a star. Some years later we dressed like that for Carnival and we added the headband with feathers and the typical long cigarette. For quite some time now we´ve seem many fringed garments and accessories like skirts, blouses, leather jackets and even shoes. When I styled Diana I got my inspiration from those days when women were happy, worldly and charming.

Quando penso alle frange mi viene in mente la flapper girl degli anni ’20 del periodo del charleston con vestiti brillanti, lustrini e frange. Ricordo da ragazzina che con mia sorella giocavamo a prendere i vestiti di mia madre e ce n’era uno nero che mi mettevo sempre con le frange, era dritto con le bretelline e brillava, mi sentivo proprio una star, più avanti nel tempo sia io che mia sorella l’abbiamo usato per Carnevale appunto da charleston con il nastrino in testa con le piume e il tipico bocchino lungo. Se ne vedono in giro da tempo e non solo nelle gonne ma anche nelle camicie, giubbotti di pelle e addirittura sulle scarpe. Con lo styling di Diana mi sono ispirata a quel tempo dove la donna era allegra, mondana ed incantevole.

Cuando pienso en los flecos me vuelve a la mente  la chica flapper de los años ’20 del período del charlestón con vestidos brillantes, lentejuelas y flecos. Recuerdo que cuando era una niña, solía  jugar con mi hermana y me ponía la ropa de mi madre, ella tenìa un vestido negro con flecos, recto con tirantes y brillantes, me sentía una estrella, más adelante tanto yo como mi hermana nos lo poníamos para el Carnaval, añadíamos la cinta en la cabeza con plumas y el típico cigarrillo largo. Hace tiempo que se ven muchas prendas y accesorios con flecos, faldas, camisetas, chaquetas de cuero y hasta zapatos. Con el styling de Diana me inspiré en ese momento donde la mujer era alegre, mundana y con encanto.

It seems like yesterday when I had to dress from the neck and down to protect myself from the cold and the moisture. I wanted to get rid of heavy wool socks that oppressed me, the scarf around the neck that didn´t let me breath properly and the wool cap that ruined my hair when it was raining. But now I feel free, I enjoy the warm weather and being a bit tanned. I admit that I love shorts although I know my legs are not perfect but I can´t do without them during the summer, besides I think that they match this open-back blouse from Fornarina very well!

Sembra ieri quando imbaccuccata fino al collo dal freddo umido desideravo liberarmi da quelle pesanti calze di lana che mi opprimevano, quella sciarpa intorno al collo che mi faceva quasi soffocare e, che dire del cappello di lana per quei giorni quando la pioggia e il vento non mi permetteva rimanere ben pettinata, ed ora invece mi sento libera, desiderosa di calore e di abbronzatura. Confesso che i pantaloncini corti mi piacciono da morire anche se, so che le mie gambe non sono perfette, non posso farne a meno d’estate e poi, con questo top di Fornarina con la schiena aperta, il  successo é strepitoso!!

Parece que fue ayer cuando tapada hasta el cuello por el frío y la húmedad, deseaba deshacerme de los calcetines de lana pesados ​​que me oprimían, la bufanda alrededor del cuello que casi me ahogaba y ¿qué decir del gorro de lana para los días en que la lluvia y el viento no me dejaban ir bien peinada? Pero ahora me siento libre y con ganas de calor y de estar morena. Admito que los pantalones cortos me encantan pero, aunque sé que mis piernas no son perfectas, no puedo prescindir de ellos en el verano, además con esta blusa escotada en la espalda de Fornarina, me parece un éxito rotundo!

One more opportunity for me to do something I really have a passion for, styling.

I mentioned some time ago that I was looking for some short dungarees, but it had to be the “right” ones… and here they are! I remember that when I was small my mother tied the straps with ease, but at the end they were always twisted and remained like that, but now that I´m a grown up I´m able to tie them myself. Anyway, these in denim are comfortable and suit (and look good on) everyone. I think it’s the most used fabric in the world! A sunny day in the nature reading a magazine, this is today´s picture!

Un’altro stilismo, un’altro motivo per giocare con la mia grande passione.

Vi avevo parlato da poco di desiderare una salopette corta, una che mi piacesse e che mi soddisfacesse al cento per cento…ed eccola! Fin da piccola l’ho portata e, ricordo che la mia mamma mi allacciava quelle bretelle con facilitá ma, mi si rigiravano sempre con il risultato che rimanevano sempre storte. Adesso, che ho la capacitá di farlo anch’io, non me ne privo. Eccola, in jeans, quella stoffa che risulta comoda a tutti e che va bene con tutto e su tutti. Penso che sia la stoffa più usata al mondo! Una giornata di sole, in mezzo al verde con una rivista in mano: questa é la mia foto di oggi!

P.S. Ah, non vi sembra anche a voi che la modella assomigli alla ineguagliabile Sofia Loren?

Otro estilismo, otra razón para jugar con mi gran pasión.

Yo había mencionado recientemente de querer un mono corto, uno que me gustaba y que me iba a satisfacerme al cien por cien … y aquí está! Desde que era niña y lo llevaba, me acuerdo de que mi madre me ataba los tirantes con facilidad, pero siempre estaban dando vueltas y así, se me quedaban siempre torcidas. Ahora, tengo la habilidad necesaria para hacerlo yo misma, y no me quedo sin. Aquí está, en vaquero, aquella tela que resulta cómoda para todos y que va bien con todo y a todo el mundo. Creo que es el tejido más utilizado en el mundo! Un día soleado, en el bosque, con una revista en la mano: esta es mi foto de hoy!

Anyway, it seems that mint green will be an essential part go our wardrobe this summer and combined with white it gives a romatic touch to my outfit. As well it looks great with yellow, pink or peach and with black if you prefer a more transgressive look, perhaps matched with a single accessory. So, what do you prefer?

Pastello o Fluo? Questa é una combinazione che non si può certamente mischiare tra di sé. Quindi bisogna scegliere. Il verde menta, sembra che quest’estate abbia preso il sopravvento, un posto protagonista nel nostro armadio, da un’aria romantica che sposato col bianco ha completato il mio look romantico, ma va bene anche con il giallo, il rosa o il pesca, col nero va bene per le più trasgressive, magari aggiungendo solo un accessorio. Voi con che colore l’abbinate?

El color verde menta, parece que este verano se ha impuesto, un lugar líder en nuestro armario, dona un aire romántico que combina con blanco completando mi look romántico, pero va bien con el amarillo, el rosa o el melocotón , con el negro está muy bien para las más transgresivas, tal vez añadiendo sólo un accesorio. Do you remember that Roberto Cavalli made a collection for H&M? I was in Copenhagen the day it came out in the stores. I wanted to go and have a look at it and touch it with my own hands, so when we arrived at the Radisson I quickly changed and went downtown. I don´t think that I have to tell you that there where people queuing outside the store, I should have imagined that as it was the first day. I liked this dress from the first moment and I kept it like if it was a jewel. I´ve been waiting for the right moment and I was sure that Claire would appreciate to be the first one to wear it, that´s the least one can do for a friend. I´m really happy with the result – she looks like a Greek Goddess!

Vi ricordate quando H&M “sfornó” la collezione di Roberto Cavalli? Io mi trovavo a Copenaghen, ricordo che volevo assolutamente andare a vedere la collezione e poter toccarla con le mie mani, così arrivata al Radisson, mi cambiai subito e giù in città . E’ inutile dirvi che la fila arrivava fin fuori, mi immaginai subito come poteva essere lunga quella fila il primo giorno quando aprirono le porte con la collezione di Cavalli. Devo dire che mi colpì subito questo vestito che fino ad oggi l’ho tenuto come un gioiello. Mi piace avere sempre qualcosa di speciale per essere tirato fuori nel momento ideale come questo; Claire ero sicura che avrebbe apprezzato poterlo indossare e, che privilegio essere la prima a farlo. Per un’amica è il minimo che si possa fare. Che bello è stato vederla come una Dea Greca!

¿Te acuerdas cuando H&M sacó la colección de Roberto Cavalli? Yo estaba en Copenhague, recuerdo que quería ir a ver la colección y  tocarla con mis manos, así que llegamos en el hotel Radisson, me cambié de prisa y bajé a la ciudad. Es  inútil decir que la fila llegaba hasta el exterior del establecimiento, imaginé enseguida como podía ser el primer día que abrieron las puertas con las colección. Debo decir que me quedé enseguida con este vestido que he guardado como si de una joya se tratase. Me gusta tener algo especial para sacarlo en un momento ideal; estaba segura que Claire lo habría apreciado mucho, y que es un privilegio ser la primera en llevarlo. Para un amiga es lo menos que se puede hacer. Me encantó verla como una Diosa Griega!

Earlier this year I bought this dress at H&M and immediately it felt like spring with those huge flowers. Then I came to think of the “Pollinator Frocks” collection by Karen Ingham. A special collection made to attract butterflies, bees and other endangered insects to the dresses in order to feed them and to make them proliferate. Well, I did not take any risks by adding sugary substance on my dress as she did!

All’inizio della stagione ho acquistato questo vestito da H&M, mi sono sentita subito in primavera con questi fioroni grandi e mi è venuta subito in mente la collezione “Pollinator Frocks” di Karen Ingham che ha creato vestiti capaci di attirare farfalle, insetti e addirittura api in via di estinzione  per farli accoppiare e nutrirli ma, io non rischio di aggiungere quella sostanza zuccherina al mio vestito come ha fatto lei.

I could never imagine that I would find a gold dress so light and easy to wear, and it´s even great to use during day time! This affordable one I bought at H&M and as gold is very trendy this spring / summer I’m sure that I´ll be wearing it a lot. Of course it will look better with a bit of sun tan but as the weather is changing a lot I matched it with a black leather jacket for a sportier and more relaxed look. What do you think about the outcome?

Non mi sarei mai immaginata di trovare un vestito dorato cosí leggero e facile da indossare anche di giorno! Questo l’ho comprato da H&M ad un prezzo accessibile e, seguendo la moda di questa primavera/estate, sono sicura che ne farò un buon uso. Certo, con un po’ di abbronzatura mi starà sicuramente meglio ma, in questi giorni ancora incerti, l’ho indossato con questo giubbino in pelle dando al look un tocco un po’ più sportivo e non troppo sofisticato. With the first rays of sun, and if you still haven’t got a nice tan, it can be a bit difficult to know what to wear sometimes, then a long skirt can be a good option. This time I wanted a skirt with a Mexican touch from Tintoretto (that I bought recently) to be the main character of the outfit and I completed the look with a lot of scarves tied together to form a big multi-coloured one. Do you like the idea?

Con i primi raggi di sole e ancora la carnagione chiara é difficile sapere cosa mettersi; la gonna lunga diventa in questi casi una buona scelta. In questo look di oggi ho voluto dargli protagonismo con un tocco un po’ messicano, questa l’ho comprata da poco firmata Tintoretto e ho completato l’outfit con molti foulard annodati insieme formandone uno tutto colorato. Vi piace l’idea?

Con los primeros rayos de sol y una tez todavía tan clara es difícil saber qué ponerse, la falda larga se convierte en una buena opción en estos casos. En este look he querido darle protagonismo con un toque mejicano, esta la que compré hace muy poco de la firma Tintoretto y completé el outfit con un montón de pañuelos atados entre si formando uno de muchos colores. Hola chicas, este mi outfit lo he realizado  de manera especial para el concurso organizado por H&M y Harpers Bazaar para premiar el look más elegante. Ojeando las revistas de moda y mirando los desfiles de los estilistas más prestigiosos, me he dado cuenta de que  la colección pre-fall está llena de sorpresas, el color es un punto esencial, en particular el color KLEIN es un color de tendencia, aquí lo he conjuntado con el negro clásico, una chaqueta de H&M con un corte particular y vanguardista, completando con un sombrero de fieltro que otorga al conjunto un toque de elegancia impecable. ¿ Tú qué opinas? Hey girls, this is the outfit I made e​​specially for the contest organized by H&M and Harpers Bazaar to reward the most elegant look. Looking through fashion magazines and watching the catwalks of the most prestigious designers, I’ve noticed that the pre-Autumn collection is full of surprises, the colour is an essential point, in particular KLEIN is a very fashionable colour of blue. Here I’ve matched it with classic black; a jacket from H&M with a vanguard cut, complete with a felt hat to give the outfit a touch of impeccable elegance. I like the feeling of walking on fresh green grass,  it´s a feeling of freedom that makes me feel alive. These trousers in a fluorescent colour, from Pedro del Hierro, really highlights your suntan and I believe that matched with a blouse like this one with long wide sleeves and tied in the front it´s a very fashionable outfit. Hair up and a hair clip gives it all a mischievous touch that my husband really liked.

Mi piace tantissimo camminare sull’erba e sentirmi quella sensazione di liberta´che mi avvolge e mi fa sentire viva. Questi pantaloni,  di Pedro del Hierro,  seguono la moda del momento,  sono di un color florescente che fanno risaltare l’abbronzatura e che ho trovato carino con l’abbinamento della camicia bianca con le maniche  a volante e annodata in vita, la farfallina sui capelli tirati all’ insù da quell’aria un po´sbarazzina che a mio marito lo fa impazzire.

Me gusta muchísimo caminar sobre la hierba y sentir aquella sensación de libertad que me envuelve  y me hace sentir viva. Estos pantalones, de Pedro del Hierro, siguen la moda de la temporada actual, son de un color fluoresciente que hacen que el moreno destaque, lo encuentro muy acertado conjuntado con esta camisa con las mangas anchas y atada con un nudo por delante, la mariposa en el pelo recogido me proporciona un aire un poco traviesa que a mi marido le vuelve loco.

I have to admit that I always liked bare back dresses like this one from Met that I found in a multibrand store. I find it sexy, it´s very comfortable and ideal for a night out with friends. If my husband was Mediterranean I´m sure that he never would let me go out in such a provocative dress. But the Swedes are thinking a bit different, they are more open minded and not so afraid of the “risks” as a Latino would be, on the contrary, my husband is proud of me and my outfits. Devo ammettere che da sempre mi sono piaciuti i vestiti con la schiena scoperta,  come questo della firma MET,  che ho trovato in un negozio multifirma. Lo trovo enormemente sexy ma, allo stesso tempo comodo e adatto per una serata fuori con le amiche. Certo che se avessi un marito mediterraneo,  non mi avrebbe fatta mai uscire con un vestito cosí provocante. Infatti, la mentalitá svedese  e´molto piú aperta e non ha paura di “rischiare” come si sentirebbe un latino, anzi, mio marito si sente orgoglioso di me e dei miei gusti. Voi che ne dite?

Tengo que admitir que desde siempre me han gustado los vestidos que dejan la espalda al descubierto como este de Met que he encontrado en una tienda multimarcas. Lo encuentro muy sexy pero, es muy cómodo al mismo tiempo y ideal para una noche fuera con las amigas. Si hubiese tenido un marido mediterráneo, estoy convencida de que no me hubiese dejado salir con un vestido tan provocativo. En efecto, la manera de pensar sueca es totalmente distinta, mas abierta y no tiene miedo de “arriesgar” como se sentiría un latino, por lo contrario, mi marido se siente orgulloso de mi y de mis gustos. Y tú qué piensas?

This spring I had the opportunity to visit Bilbao, a city in northern Spain´s Basque Country, it´s a city that has a lot to offer if you love shopping. Walking down the “Gran Via” full of well known shops and brands was nice, but I also enjoyed getting lost on the small side streets where you find interesting alternatives especially if you´re looking for something original. People in general are very well dressed in a elegant way, this goes for all ages from the mother passing her baby in a vintge stroller to the elderly.

Questa primavera,  ho avuto l’occasione di trovarmi nella citta’ di Bilbao, situata al nord della Spagna,  precisamente nei Paesi Baschi, e´una citta’ che offre molto in quanto allo shopping. Mi piace attraversare la sua  ”Gran Via”, piena di negozi di firme conosciute ma, anche nelle  viuzze, sparse quá e la,´che offrono altrettanto alternative interessanti per chi ama trovare qualcosa di originale. Per le strade ,la gente va ben vestita e si vede che ci tiene molto a mostrarsi elegante e raffinata, cio´si vede dalla mamma che porta a spasso il suo bambino,  mostrando carrozzelle che ricordano tempi passati e persone di ogni eta’, che sfoggiano il loro  aspetto quasi invidiabile.

Esta primavera he tenido la ocasión de quedarme en Bilbao, ciudad del norte de España, en los Países Vascos, es una ciudad que ofrece mucho para quien ama el shopping. Me gusta pasear por su gran vía llena de tiendas conocidas pero, también disfruto perdiéndome en las callecitas donde encuentras alternativas interesantes sobre todo si busca algo original. Por las calles la gente va impecable y se nota en sus prendas elegantes y refinadas, esto lo puedes observar desde la mama ´que lleva su bebe ´en unos  carritos casi de otros tiempos y también en la gente de todas las edades que enseñan un aspecto casi envidiable.
