Earlier this year I bought this dress at H&M and immediately it felt like spring with those huge flowers. Then I came to think of the “Pollinator Frocks” collection by Karen Ingham. A special collection made to attract butterflies, bees and other endangered insects to the dresses in order to feed them and to make them proliferate. Well, I did not take any risks by adding sugary substance on my dress as she did!

All’inizio della stagione ho acquistato questo vestito da H&M, mi sono sentita subito in primavera con questi fioroni grandi e mi è venuta subito in mente la collezione “Pollinator Frocks” di Karen Ingham che ha creato vestiti capaci di attirare farfalle, insetti e addirittura api in via di estinzione  per farli accoppiare e nutrirli ma, io non rischio di aggiungere quella sostanza zuccherina al mio vestito come ha fatto lei.

Al principio de temporada compré este vestido en H&M, me sentí enseguida en primavera con estas flores enormes y además me vino a la mente la coleción “Pollinator Frocks” de Karen Ingham que creó unos vestidos capaces de atraer las mariposas, los insectos y abejas en extinción para hacerlos emparejar y darles nutrición pero, yo no me arriesgo y no añado aquella sustancia azucarada en mi vestido como hizo ella!

Dresses with flowers are often associated with old ladies but it doesn´t necessarily have to be like that, flowers give a romantic touch to your look, and there are many designers that included them in their latest collections. I have to admit that I had my doubts but if you are a bit suntanned it looks different and I like this dress, the flowers on black gives it a Chinese touch. This autumn/winter there will be floral fabrics and prints inspired by leaves, branches and shrubs combined with the typical winter colours as the irreplaceable black, purple, burgundy and emerald green.

Spesso si pensa che i vestiti a fiori siano sinonimo di vecchietta ma, non é cosí, infatti i fiori donano un aria romantica al tuo look, sono tanti gli stilisti che hanno sfoggiato vestiti a dir poco, meravigliosi questa stagione. Anch’io ne ero un po’ restia nell’indossare queti tipi di vestiti stampati ma, devo ammettere che l’effetto con l’abbronzatura cambia notevolmente. Il vestito che indosso mi piace molto, i fiori sullo sfondo nero mi ricordano un po’ lo stile cinese. Per la prossima stagione la tendenza offre ancora stoffe raffiguranti grandi fiori e nature morte, abbinate a colori dell’inverno come l’insostituibile nero, il viola, il bordeaux e il verde smeralda.

A menudo se suele relacionar los vestidos de flores con las viejecitas pero, no es así, las flores dan un aire romántico a tu  look, ya son muchos los estilistas que han presentado vestidos estupendos esta temporada. Yo también tenía mis dudas al respecto pero, tengo que admitir que el efecto cambia si estas un poco tostada por el sol. El vestido que llevo me gusta mucho, las flores sobre fondo negro llaman un poco el estilo chino. Para la próxima temporada la tendencia es seguir con telas floreadas, hojas, ramas y arbustos combinada con los colores típicos del inviernos como el insustituible negro, el morado, el berenjena y el verde esmeralda.
