Hi girls! It’s been long, I know, since I had time to make post and to further explore the world of fashion transmitting that passion that I have. Sometimes life sends you in another direction than what you plan but then suddenly you’re back on track and here I am. Since I arrived in Stockholm I’ve been studying Swedish but at the same time I’m trying to make my way in the world of fashion.

I prepared some posts that remained in the drawer, but I think they can still inspire like this one I did last autumn when the started to get cold outside. Here In Stockholm the use of rubber boots is widespread and especially the ones from Hunter are very popular. Besides the obvious utility and comfort, these boots requires some maintenance, in fact, to maintain its luster you must use a special oil, provided by retailers, otherwise the boots appear very dull and stained. Remember: If you look after your shoes very careful they will last a lifetime!

Salve ragazze! E’ da tempo, lo so, che avrei dovuto entrare nel blog e continuare a esplorare nel mondo della moda e trasmettervi questa mia passione che come un vulcano mi travolge sempre di più. Ebbene sì, la vita a volte non ti porta propio dove vuoi tu e ci costringe a virare da un’altra parte per forza maggiore ma, poi la voglia di riprendere il cammino iniziato si fa di nuovo presente ed….eccomi ancora qua. Spero vi faccia comunque sapere che non sto perdendo tempo qui a Stoccolma; infatti a parte lo studio della lingua svedese che mi tiene occupata la maggior parte del tempo, sto cercando di farmi strada anche nel mondo della moda.

Qualche tempo fa avevo preparato dei post che sono, ahimè, rimasti nel cassetto ma che credo possano essere ancora di ispirazione come questo, all’insegna dell’autunno e dei primi freddi. Qui a Stoccolma ho notato che l’uso degli stivali di gomma é generalizzato ma sopratutto questi che indosso (Hunter) vanno per la maggiore. A parte l’utilità evidente e la loro comodità, necessitano di un certo mantenimento, infatti per mantenerne la lucentezza bisogna ricorrere ad un olio speciale fornito dai rivenditori della marca, al contrario lo stivale appare molto opaco e macchiato. Come amante delle scarpe, in particolare, sappiate che una scarpa ben curata può durarvi una vita.

Hola chicas! Es hace mucho tiempo, lo sé, que hubiese tenido que entrar en el blog y seguir explorando el mundo de la moda transmitiendo esa gran pasión que tengo. Pero, la vida a veces no te lleva adonde quieres y por lo contrario nos obliga a virar hacia otro lado, pero luego vuelve el deseo de retomar el camino y aquí estoy …. . Desde que llegué a Estocolmo además del estudio de la lengua sueca que me mantiene ocupada la mayor parte del tiempo, estoy tratando de abrirme camino en el mundo de la moda.

Hace algún tiempo me había preparado algunos post que se quedaron en el cajón, pero que creo puedan todavía servir de inspiración como este que hice para el otoño y los primeros fríos. En Estocolmo el uso de botas de goma está muy extendida, pero sobre todo son muy populares las Hunter. Además de la obvia utilidad y comodidad, estas botas requiere un cierto mantenimiento, de hecho, para mantener su brillo debemos utilizar a un aceite especial proporcionado por los minoristas de la marca, al contrario las botas aparecerán muy opacas y manchadas. Recordad: ‘Unos zapatos muy cuidados os pueden durar una vida entera!’

Tweed is a fabric that I´ve always liked, that I usually wear during the winter, and I believe that costumes with a classic touch (like the ’60s) are very elegant and feminine. I´m sure that next fall (2013) we’ll see more of this Scottish fabric. One from Gucci is perfect, but go for vintage, I’m sure that your mother has one, a few tweaks here and there, a belt around the jacket to tighten the waist, just as Sophia Loren and of course a pair of stilettos. Il tweed é un tessuto che mi ha sempre accompagnato e che mi é sempre piaciuto indossarlo durante l’inverno. I classici tailleurs degli anni ’60 li trovo eleganti e femminili. Per il prossimo autunno 2013, sono sicura che se ne vedrà più di uno in giro. Quello di Gucci é perfetto, ma cercando nel baule dei ricordi sicuro che ne troviamo uno di nostra madre, qualche ritocco qua e là, una cintura intorno alla giacca per una vita strettissima, come quella di Sofia Loren, e gli immancabili tacchi a spillo. El tweed es un tejido que siempre me ha acompañado y que siempre he llevado durante el invierno. Los trajes clásicos de los años ’60 me parecen elegantes y femeninos. Para el otoño de 2013, estoy segura de que veremos más de un traje chaqueta en este tejido escocés. El de Gucci es perfecto, pero buscando en el baúl de los recuerdos, estoy segura de que nos encontramos con el de nuestra madre, algunos retoques aquí y allá, un cinturón alrededor de la chaqueta para una cintura muy estrecha, como la de Sophia Loren, y los inevitable tacones de aguja. I wanted to make a shoot with a touch of the fifties for some time and I thought that Enza would be the perfect model. A “style” that undoubtedly takes us back in time and gives a younger generation the opportunity to get an idea about what our mothers and grandmother looked like when they were young. I remember a picture of ​​my mother that was taken the very same day she meet my father for the first time, she wore a dress belted at the waist and light colored high heels … a real beauty! Of course fashion those days was not the same as today, but what we see today is not more that the continued inspiration that chic fashion that captivates al of us!

Era ormai da tempo che avrei voluto sfoggiare uno degli stili anni ’50 e, mi sono divertita a farlo con Enza. Uno “styling” che certamente ci riporta indietro col tempo o per qualcuno assai più giovane fa conoscere il look che le nostre mamme o nonne hanno indossato durante la loro vita da giovincella. Ricordo una foto che fecero a mia mamma il giorno in cui conobbe mio padre, indossava un vestito stretto in vita di un colore chiaro e i tacchi a spillo…una vera bambola! A quei tempi la moda era appena incominciata ma, quello che oggi vediamo non é altro che il continuo attingere da quella moda chic che appassiona chiunque!

Hace ya un tiempo que quería realizar un estilos  año ’50, así que lo he aprovechado con Enza. Un “estilo” que, sin duda, nos transporta en el tiempo y que para alguien mucho más joven da a conocer el aspecto que nuestras madres y abuelas usaron cuando era jovencitas. Me acuerdo de una foto que le hicieron a mi madre justo el día que conoció a mi padre, llevaba un vestido ceñido a la cintura de color claro y zapatos de tacón alto … una verdadera muñeca! En aquellos días, la moda no hacia nada más que empezar, pero lo que vemos hoy no es más que la continua inspiración de aquella moda tan chic que cautiva a cualquiera!

This summer I had the opportunity to go to one of the most beautiful beaches of Mallorca known as “Es Trenc“, took over an hour from home, but it was definitely worth it. Arriving after a passing a cove it was certainly gratifying to jump into the fresh water. I stayed all day until the sun went down, wearing this dress and walking along the rocks to watch the sunset. Look at the sea? The gaze is lost in the infinite! Super nice ….

Quest’estate sono riuscita ad andare in una delle più belle spiagge di Maiorca conosciuta con il nome di “Es Trenc“, da casa ci impiego almeno un’ora ma, senza dubbio ne vale la pena; arrivare dopo una camminata in una delle cale del luogo e tuffarsi nell’acqua fresca é certamente gratificante. Sono rimasta tutta la giornata fino al calar del sole, ho indossato questo copricostume lungo e mi sono incamminata fino alle rocce per osservare il tramonto. Vedete, laggiú, sul mare?? Lo sguardo si perde nell’infinito!! Bellissimo…

Este verano tuve la oportunidad de ir a una de las playas más bonitas de Mallorca conocida con el nombre de “Es Trenc“, tardo más o menos una hora desde casa, pero sin duda vale la pena, llegar después de un paseo en una de las calitas del lugar y saltar en el agua tan fresca es ciertamente gratificante. Me quedé todo el día hasta que se puso el sol, llevaba este vestido largo y caminé por las rocas para ver la puesta de sol. Ves, allá, en el mar? La mirada se pierde en el infinito! Super bonito….

This is the third post where I´m styling Claire with some of my garments. As I mentioned earlier, before I finish my outfits I want to “see” them, but sometimes, as with this one it was all very spontaneously! Given that sequins look better on people that are slim as they highlighting the shape of the wearer Claire is a perfect candidate. If you´re a bit bigger it´s better not to wear glitter on parts of the body that don´t want to highlight. This youthful look works well for girls that like a casual look and comfort. Oh, don´t forget that for this kind of  look high heels are tabu!

Questo é il terzo outfit che ho realizzato, con i capi del mio armadio, per Claire. Come vi ho accennato in altre occasioni, prima di “confezionare” i miei outfits e stylings, li devo necessariamente visualizzare ma, a volte, come é successo in questo di Claire, e´stato come un flash! Partendo dal fatto che le paillettes si adattano molto alle persone magre, poiché illuminano e risaltano la figura, ho pensato che Claire sarebbe stata perfetta per indossarlo; le persone un po’ più in carne devono portare le paillettes in punti del corpo che non si vogliono evidenziare. Questo look giovanile poi, mi sembra molto adatto a ragazze che amano il look casual e la comodità. Ah, per questo look sono assolutamente vietati i tacchi!!

Este es el tercer post que hice, con las prendas de mi armario, para Claire. Como ya he mencionado en otras ocasiones, antes de realizar mi outfits y mi stylings,  necesito visualizarlos, pero en ocasiones, como ha ocurrido con este de Claire, ha sido como un flash! Teniendo en cuenta que las lentejuelas las llevan mejor  personas muy delgadas, ya que destacan la imagen de quien las lleva, pensé que Claire iba a ser una candidata perfecta para llevarlas; para las personas más robusta es preferible que no lleven las lentejuelas en las partes del cuerpo que no quieren resaltar. Este aspecto juvenil, entonces, parece muy adecuado para las chicas que aman el look casual y el confort. Ah, que no se os olvides que con este look están absolutamente prohibidos los tacones!

One more opportunity for me to do something I really have a passion for, styling.

I mentioned some time ago that I was looking for some short dungarees, but it had to be the “right” ones… and here they are! I remember that when I was small my mother tied the straps with ease, but at the end they were always twisted and remained like that, but now that I´m a grown up I´m able to tie them myself. Anyway, these in denim are comfortable and suit (and look good on) everyone. I think it’s the most used fabric in the world! A sunny day in the nature reading a magazine, this is today´s picture!

Un’altro stilismo, un’altro motivo per giocare con la mia grande passione.

Vi avevo parlato da poco di desiderare una salopette corta, una che mi piacesse e che mi soddisfacesse al cento per cento…ed eccola! Fin da piccola l’ho portata e, ricordo che la mia mamma mi allacciava quelle bretelle con facilitá ma, mi si rigiravano sempre con il risultato che rimanevano sempre storte. Adesso, che ho la capacitá di farlo anch’io, non me ne privo. Eccola, in jeans, quella stoffa che risulta comoda a tutti e che va bene con tutto e su tutti. Penso che sia la stoffa più usata al mondo! Una giornata di sole, in mezzo al verde con una rivista in mano: questa é la mia foto di oggi!

P.S. Ah, non vi sembra anche a voi che la modella assomigli alla ineguagliabile Sofia Loren?

Otro estilismo, otra razón para jugar con mi gran pasión.

Yo había mencionado recientemente de querer un mono corto, uno que me gustaba y que me iba a satisfacerme al cien por cien … y aquí está! Desde que era niña y lo llevaba, me acuerdo de que mi madre me ataba los tirantes con facilidad, pero siempre estaban dando vueltas y así, se me quedaban siempre torcidas. Ahora, tengo la habilidad necesaria para hacerlo yo misma, y no me quedo sin. Aquí está, en vaquero, aquella tela que resulta cómoda para todos y que va bien con todo y a todo el mundo. Creo que es el tejido más utilizado en el mundo! Un día soleado, en el bosque, con una revista en la mano: esta es mi foto de hoy!

Earlier this year I bought this dress at H&M and immediately it felt like spring with those huge flowers. Then I came to think of the “Pollinator Frocks” collection by Karen Ingham. A special collection made to attract butterflies, bees and other endangered insects to the dresses in order to feed them and to make them proliferate. Well, I did not take any risks by adding sugary substance on my dress as she did!

All’inizio della stagione ho acquistato questo vestito da H&M, mi sono sentita subito in primavera con questi fioroni grandi e mi è venuta subito in mente la collezione “Pollinator Frocks” di Karen Ingham che ha creato vestiti capaci di attirare farfalle, insetti e addirittura api in via di estinzione  per farli accoppiare e nutrirli ma, io non rischio di aggiungere quella sostanza zuccherina al mio vestito come ha fatto lei.

I´ve been living in Mallorca for many years but I´ve never seen so much snow here (and for so long) so I took the opportunity to go up in the mountains with my kids to play in the show. There´s nothing like breathing the fresh mountain air! Luckily I was wearing my warm boots from Timberland and my corduroys that kept my feet and legs warm as it was rather cold even if the sun was shining!

Considerando che sono ormai tanti anni che sono a Palma di Maiorca, non ho mai visto tanta neve e per cosí tanti giorni di seguito. Ne ho approfittato per prendere i miei bambini e andare a tirarci un po’ di neve addosso. Come si respira bene sui monti! Meno male che portavo questi scarponcini della Timberland e i pantaloni di velluto pesanti che mi hanno scaldato i piedi e le gambe perché vi assicuro, ci si gelava lassù anche se c’era il sole!

One of my ”flaws” is that I never throw anything away… well, almost never! In fact, I believe that in the world of fashion everything is coming back sooner or later and I have things in my closet that I will never throw. I live Fashion my way, and although I follow what my favorite designers are doing, what is most important to me is that I like and enjoy what I´m wearing. This hat, for example, that I´m wearing in this outfit I bought years ago at NK, one of the most popular and upmarket department stores in Stockholm. I remember that I tried it on and at first I found it almost ridiculous, the look on my husband face did certainly not help me to decide whether to buy it or not, as well the price was on the limit of my budget. However, I bough by instinct thinking about the cold outside and that I could use it during the winter months in Rome as well. Today I know for sure that it´s been one of my best buys even if I don´t live in Stockholm.

Uno dei miei “difetti” e´che non butto via niente…o quasi! Infatti, penso che tutto prima o poi torna di moda e che ci sono capi nel mio armadio che non getteró mai via. Io vivo la moda a modo mio, ed anche se seguo le collezioni dei miei stilisti favoriti, mi preoccupo sopratutto di poter indossare solo quello che a me piace e sopratutto mi diverte. Questo cappello per esempio, che indosso in questo mio outfit, lo comprai a Stoccolma anni fa in un a NK Grande Magazzino dei piú lussuosi e conosciuti della cittá, ricordo ché me lo provai e dapprima mi vidi quasi ridicola e la smorfia di mio marito certo non mi aiuto´molto nel possibile acquisto, inoltre il cappello aveva un prezzo quasi esorbitante per il mio portafoglio. Eppure presa dall’impulso me lo comprai pensando al freddo che faceva lì fuori e che comunque avrei potuto farne uso anche nei mesi freddi a Roma. Adesso come adesso posso dire con convinzione che l’acquisto e´stato uno dei piú azzeccati anche se non abito a Stoccolma.

Uno de mis “defectos” es que no tiro nada… o casi! De hecho, creo que todo vuelve a estar de moda y que tengo prendas en mi armario que no tiraré jamás. Yo vivo  la moda a mi manera, y aunque sigo las colecciones de mis diseñadores favoritos, me preocupo sobre todo de llevar lo que me gusta y me divierte. Este sombrero, por ejemplo, que llevo en este outfit, lo compré hace años en NK unos de los más populares y lujoso gran almacén de Estocolmo, recuerdo que lo probé y al principio me encontré casi ridícula, la mirada de mi marido sin duda no me ayudó mucho para decidir en comprármelo, el sombrero también tenía un precio casi excesivo para mi bolsillo. Sin embargo, llevada por el impulso me lo compré pensando que en el frío de ahí fuera y también que lo hubiese podido llevar incluso en los meses de frío en Roma. Ahora mismo puedo decir con convicción que ha sido unas de mis compras más acertada aunque no viva en Estocolmo.

Hey guys, this outfit I made ​​specifically for a contest organized by Chicisimo and El Corte Inglés, where you can find everything and especially the most prestigious and recognized brands. Personally I go there a lot and I enjoy spending some time looking at the latest fashion. My last buy was this Ted Baker bag in a fuchsia shade of pink in patent leather that adds a touch of colour to this dark outfit. What do you think? Do I deserve your vote?

Ciao ragazze, questo ultimo outfit l´ho realizzato espressamente per un concorso indetto dal Chicisimo e il Corte Inglés, il piú noto  Grande Magazzino spagnolo, dove si puó trovare veramente di tutto ma, sopratutto moda delle  firme piú conosciute. Io personalmente ci vado spesso e mi piace trascorrere il tempo a guardare le proposte e le novitá sulla moda. L’ultimo acquisto e´stata questa borsa di Ted Baker in vernice rosa fucsia che risalta su questo look scuro e dona quel tocco di colore che lo rende allegro. Che ne pensate? Merito il vostro voto?

It´s like a daydream … to watch the sunset is a everyday miracle that we not always have time to appreciate. Transparent is a must this summer and Alberta Ferretti for instance knows how to interpret this in her collections, inspired by fairy tales and princesses. Today I felt like wearing something like that so I picked out this two-piece dress with faint flower print for a walk in Puerto Portals with my husband. What else can I ask for?

Sto sognando ad occhi aperti… guardare il sole che si nasconde laggiú e´un miracolo che avviene ogni giorno e che spesso ci perdiamo.Questa stagione  vanno molto  le  trasparenze, Alberta Ferretti e´un esempio che ha interpretato nelle sue sfilate le  fate e le  principesse delle favole , cosí mi sono sentita  io oggi con questo vestito composto di due pezzi a fiori tenui,  l’ho ritrovato nel mio armadio e l’ho indossato per una  serata romantica  vicino al porto di Portals dove mi sono recata  a contemplare il tramonto con la piacevole compagnia di mio marito. Las trasparencias son un must de esta temporada, Alberta Ferretti es un ejemplo que ha sabido interpretar en sus desfiles las hadas y las princesas de los cuentos, así me he sentido yo hoy con este vestido compuesto de dos piezas con tenues flores que recuperé en mi armario y que se adapta para un paseo en Puerto Portals  contemplando el  tramonto junto a la compañía de mi marido. ¿Que más podría pedir?

Do you remember when I was in Rome for Easter? The weather was pretty bad, it was raining and the only sunny day I took the opportunity to take some photos of a spring outfit. I was wearing the leather jacket matched with light colours like pink anticipating the good weather. High-waisted trousers are back and are more chic than ever and besides I believe that they look good on most people. What do you think?

Vi ricordate quando sono stata a Roma per Pasquetta? Il tempo era stato abbastanza grigio e uggioso ma, l’unico giorno di sole , ne ho approfittato per scattare queste foto sul mio outfit prettamente primaverile. Infatti, la giacca di pelle indossata con colori tenui come il rosa ci anticipa la buona stagione che sta per arrivare. I pantaloni alti in vita sono di qualche anno fa ma, ritornano ad essere indossati piu’ che mai. Trovo infatti che stanno bene un po’ a tutte, voi che ne dite?

Os acordáis cuando estuve en Roma para el lunes de Pascua? El tiempo fue bastante gris y lluvioso pero, el único día de sol lo aproveché para sacar algunas fotos de mi outfit totalmente primaveral. Claro está que la cazadora de piel que llevo con juntada con colores claros como el rosa, anticipa el buen tiempo que está por llegar. Los pantalones de talle alto de hace ya unos años, regresan más que nunca. Encuentro que quedan bien casi a todas, tú qué piensas?

Shorts have really been a must-have this winter and I’ve seen all kinds of shapes and combinations. Worn with knee socks, fantasy stockings, silk stockings, military jackets, parkas, leather jacket and mink fur. The shorts I´m wearing with this outfit are made of suede, matched with opaque tights (to give the look a more casual touch), a jacket with waistcoat that is very comfortable (and keeps you very warm) and short boots (with a small bee shaped jewelry) that I like very much.

Lo short e’ stato senza dubbio un must-have di quest’ autunno-inverno. Io in giro ne ho visti tanti, tante gambe in mostra. Shorts  indossati con calzettoni, calze opache di variopinti colori, addirittura con le calze velate; abbinati a giacche militari, impermiabili, giubbotti di pelle ed anche a  giacche in pelle di visone. Questi short in camoscio che indosso in questo outfit,  mi e’ piaciuto indossarlo  con una calza opaca a rombi per dare un tocco divertente e con  la giacca- gilet imbottito, che e’ comodissima e ti ripara dal freddo, gli stivaletti con l’ape gioiello, mi fanno impazzire.

El pantalón corto ha sido esta temporada un must-have. Yo por allí lo he visto mucho y  muchas piernas a la vista. Shorts llevados con medias hasta la rodilla, medias mates de fantasía hasta con medias de cristal conjuntados con chaquetas militares, parkas, chaqueta de piel y también de piel de visón. l pantalón corto que llevo en este outfit son de ante y para darle un toque un poco desenfadado lo llevo con unos panti tupido con rombos y con una chaqueta-chaleco acolchado, es muy cómoda  y te repara del frio, los botines con un abeja joya en un lateral me han encantado muchísimo.

Today, the outfit is casual. I like to wear this kind of maxi  jersey together with jeans as it´s very comfortable. I found it earlier this winter and I´ve been using it a lot, here together with jeans but as well it´s great with leggins.

Oggi il mio outfit e’ abbastanza casual, mi risulta comodo indossare un maglione lungo con i jeans. Questo maxi maglione l’ho comprato quest’inverno e l’ho portato parecchio; quí lo porto con un paio di jeans ma mi piace anche con un leggins.

Hoy el outfit es algo informal, me gusta llevar este tipo de jersey largo con un vaquero pues te siente comoda. Este maxi jersey lo encontré  este invierno y lo he aprovechado bastante; aquí lo llevo con  vaquero pero sienta genial también con un leggins.

Hi girls! Nothing better than a walk with my dog Lucky under the sun of Majorca, not too warm, just wonderful. Red is a trendy colour, matched with camel or black  it´s very elegant. Normally it´s a colour that looks good on people with warm typology , in other words those who have different tones of brown hair (looks good on golden blonds as well), dark skin (or medium and pale) and brown or honey coloured eyes. So go for passion red, you´ll be in vanguard next season as well.

Ciao ragazze! Non c’e’ niente di meglio che una passeggiata con il mio cagnolino Lucky sotto il tiepido ma splendido sole di Maiorca. Il rosso e’ un colore che va di moda, abbinato al color cammello o al nero risulta molto elegante. Principalmente e’ un colore che fa per chi appartiene ad una tipologia calda e cioe’ a chi ha la tonalita’ di capelli castani in tutte le sue sfumature ma  anche con il biondo dorato, hanno una pelle scura, media ma anche chiara con occhi marroni o miele. Avanti col rosso passione  quindi  che, anche la prossima stagione va per la maggiore.

Hola chicas! No hay nada mejor que ir de paseo con mi perro Lucky bajo el sol de Mallorca aún templado pero maravilloso. El rojo es uno de los colores de moda, conjuntado con el camel o el negro resulta muy elegante. Mayoritariamente es un color que siente bien a las tipología cálida o sea a quien posee un tono de pelo castaño en todas sus tonalidades pero también al rubio dorado, para quien tiene la piel oscura, media y también blanca, con ojos marrones o miel. Entonces adelante con el rojo pasión, también para la próxima temporada iras a la última.
