What a pity that I wasn´t able to attend the Madrid Fashion Week - Cibeles - this time but unfortunately I’ve been busy working the whole week and as well my children started school. However, thanks to the Internet I was able to enjoy the shows online. I’m sure the atmosphere wasn´t the same this time as the famous Spanish designer Jesus del Pozo passed away recently. The collections are inspired by the 50s, 60s, 70s and even the 80s. I really liked the long dresses and the “jumpsuits” with ruffled crepe fabrics, organza or silk and the scarf tied around the head by Jesus del Pozo. Satin, cool-wool, silk and shoes with animal print from Duyos. The Mediterranean touch in Andres Sardá´s collection (using cotton, lycra and silk) that reminds me of the ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome. I really liked the emerald green dress from Angel Schlesser, her total white and the 20 cm stilettos with the ring at the ankle. El Ego was closing the Cibeles with a show that brings back the wonderful 80s with its bright colors and a great desire to dance the night away. I´ve lived these years and even if I identified myself with this fashion back then I must admit that I don´t like it although I know that it reflects a desire to live and enjoy yourself. Che peccato non essere potuta andare a Madrid per la Passerella Cibeles  ma, purtroppo tutta la settimana sono stata impegnata con il lavoro e l’inizio della scuola dei bambini. Certamente quest’anno, sono sicura,  che l’ambiente non poteva essere lo stesso per la recente scomparsa di Jesus del Pozo, uno dei piú celebri stilisti spagnoli. Comunque, grazie a internet, mi sono potuta godere le sfilate on line. L’ispirazione dagli anni  ’50, ’60, ’70 e persino ’80 hanno accomunato un po´tutti gli stilisti. Mi sono piaciuti moltissimo  gli abiti  lunghi e gli “jumpsuit” confezionati con tessuti crêpe increspato ,  organza o seta ed   il foulard annodato sulla testa di Jesus del Pozo;   il raso, il fresco-lana  e  le scarpe print animaleur di Duyos, gli abiti stilo  mediterraneo che ricordano l’antico Egitto, la Grecia e Roma di  Andres Sardá che fa uso del cotone e  la lycra; mi piace tantissimo il verde smeraldo del vestito di Angel Schlesser,  il suo bianco totale e  lo stiletto alto 20 cm con l’anello alla caviglia. El Ego che e’ stata  la  sfilata di chiusura di Cibeles che ci riporta agli splendidi anni ’80 con i suoi colori sgargianti e tanta voglia di ballare in Disco;  io  ho vissuto a pieno quegli’anni ma, sinceramente, anche se io stessa mi sento identificata per  quel tipo di moda, devo ammettere che non mi piace affatto, anche se riflette adesso come allora,  una voglia di vivere e di gioire. Tu che ne pensi? Ti senti identificata con la moda degl’anni ottanta?

Qué pena no haber ido a Madrid para los desfiles de Cibeles pero, justo coincidió con mis días de trabajo y el inicio del colegio de mis hijos. Estoy segura que no fue lo mismo  por  la perdida de Jesús del Pozo, uno de los estilistas españoles más conocido. De todas formas, gracias a  internet he podido ver los desfiles on line. Las colecciones se han inspirado  a los años ’50,’60´’70 y también ’80. Me han gustado muchísimos los vestidos largos y los “jumpsuit” en crêpe, organzas, seda y el pañuelo en  la cabeza de Jesús del Pozo; el saten,  la lana fria y los salones “print animal” de Duyos; los vestidos estilo mediterráneo que recuerdan la Roma antigua, Egipto o Grecia  de Andres Sardá que utiliza el algodón y la licra; me encanta el vestido verde esmeralda de Angel Schlesser, su blanco total y lo stiletto de 20 cm con pulsera en el tobillo. El Ego que ha sido el último desfile de Cibeles,  nos lleva a los esplendidos años ’80 con sus colores brillantes y muchas gana de bailar en la Disco, yo he vivido aquellos años pero, sinceramente, aunque me sienta identificada con aquella moda, tengo que decir que no me gusta para nada, soy conciente de que entonces como ahora, es el reflejo de una gana de vivir y de divertirse. Tú qué piensas? Te sientes identificada con los años ’80?

Well, it´s rather obvious by now that I really liked this fashion show. I believe that when you have such a pleasant experience like this one it´s nice to share it with others and through the blog I have that possibility to do that through my photos. As you can see the fall / winter – 2011 / 2012 we´ll wear dark gray, red & black, dark green, transparent, satin, feathers, sequins, leather gloves with jewels and a very slim waist.

Bene, e’ evidente che la sfilata mi e’ rimasta impressa; quando si hanno queste esperienze cosí gratificanti e’ bello poterle condividere con gli altri ed io ho la possibilita’ di farvi vedere cio’ che hanno visto i miei occhi attraverso le foto che vi mostro. Ebbene, come potete osservare dalle molteplici foto, per il 2011-12 si portera’ il grigio topo total look, il rosso abbinato al nero, il verde bottiglia, il tutto con giochi di  trasparenze, raso, piume, paiettes,guanti di pelle con gli strass e girovita da infarto.

Bien, esta’ claro que el desfile me ha gustado mucho; cuando se tienen experiencias de este tipo tan placenteras, es muy bonito compartirlas con los demás y yo tengo la posibilidad de poder enseñaros los que mis ojos han visto a través de mis fotos. Como podeís ver en las fotos, para el 2011-12 se llevara´el total look gris oscuro, el rojo conjuntado con el negro, el verde oscuro, transparencias, satén, plumas, lentejuelas, guantes de piel con pedreria y una cintura ceñida al extremo.

The trip to Madrid and Cibeles was not planned but a last minute decision, anyway it paid off and I enjoyed myself among fashion lovers and people that wants to share their style with others.

Il viaggio a Madrid non era per niente programmato ma, all’ultimo momento ho deciso di andare alla piu’ grande delle passerelle spagnole. Ne e’ valsa la pena e mi sono sentita veramente a mio agio tra tanta gente che segue la moda e che ha voglia di condividere il proprio stile con gli altri.

El viaje a Madrid no estaba previsto pero, en el último momento he decidido ir para disfrutar de las más grandes pasarelas españolas.  Ha valido la pena y me he sentido a gusto entre gente que sigue la moda y que quiere compartir su estilo con los demás.

As I promised, here are some more pictures from the Juana Martin fashion show at Cibeles; she presented a collection inspired by the seven capital sins of Dante Alighieri. A determined and fascinating woman, a woman that knows how to go forward in life even when things are getting tough. Actually, this is really the feeling that I perceived there!

Hi, yesterday was a fantastic day, a day to remember, full of events and very intense. I really liked the fashion show by Juana Martin, designer from Cordoba,  that I had the opportunity to watch almost from front row. Here I want to share it with you through my photos and I’m sure that you´re gonna like them. In the next couple of days I will continue to tell you about my experience at the Cibeles with many more photos.

Salve, ieri e’ stata  una giornata piena, un giorno da non dimenticare, intenso e pieno di successi. La sfilata di Juana Martin, stilista di Cordoba, mi e’ piaciuta moltissimo, ero quasi in prima linea, vi invito a guardare tutta la sfilata attraverso le mie foto, vi piacera’ di sicuro.
