Another well known brand that showed their collection on the catwalk at The Brandery was this British mens-fashion-only. Very simple, comfortable, sporty and classic fashion for those who love sports and make it a lifestyle. I would highlight the shirts in two colours with big stripes, a must this year; stripes are totally right for girls as well and so are the comfy maxi-tees worn with leggings and a cross-body bag. Bermudas seem to be another must… What about yourself, do you like a man in bermudas?

Anche questa famosa marca britannica prettamente maschile ha sfilato sulla passerella The Brandery. Molto semplice, comoda, sportiva e classica, fa vedere una moda per coloro che amano lo sport e che ne fanno il proprio stile di vita. Personalmente ne risalterei le maglie a due colori con strisce oblique più gettonate quest’anno; anche per le donne quest’anno vanno le righe, molto comode risultano le maxi maglie abbinate ai legging e borse a tracolla. Anche i bermuda sembrano essere un must, a voi followers, vi piace l’uomo in bermuda?

También esta conocida firma británica solo para hombre ha desfilado en la pasarela The Brandery. Muy simple, cómoda, deportiva y clasica, nos enseña una moda para aquellos que aman el deporte y que hacen de ello un estilo de vida. Yo destacaría las camisetas con dos colores y con grandes raya oblicua, un must de este año; también para las chicas este año van las rayas, resulta muy cómodo las maxi-camisetas llevada con legging y bolso cruzado. Los bermudas también parecen ser un must, y a vosotras followers, os gusta el hombre en bermuda?

The Brandery – Well Worth A Visit

To be totally honest I had never been to The Brandery before and I must say that I loved the atmosphere, so young, natural and above all welcoming. I felt at home immediately and I spent a relaxing day watching the fashion shows and enjoying the simplicity of the place. Custo’s stand really stood out but other brands caught my attention as well. The schools of drawing, cutting, designers “creating” live, well known brands, some not so well known but all of it very charming. I took a special interest in jewelry and handbags and there was a brand that caught my attention during one of the fashion shows and later I found their stand – Lola Casademunt – they have jewelry, bags, belts, scarves, hats, accessories for mobile phones and for the office and you´ll probably like them if you’re into details that adds that special touch to your look or if you´re looking for a special and different gift.

Sinceramente non ero mai stata a The Brandery e devo dire che ne sono rimasta affascinata dall’ambiente cosí giovanile, vicino e sopratutto comodo. Mi sono sentita a mio agio ed ho potuto passare una giornata piacevole vedendo le varie sfilate e godendo della semplicitá del luogo. Lo stand di Custo predominava la feria ma, devo dire che gli altri angoli trasmettevano un qualcosa di speciale che hanno attirato la mia attenzione. Scuole di disegno, di taglio, artisti proponendo in diretto le loro creazioni e tantissime firme conosciute, chi un po´di piú chi un po´di meno ma, con una particolaritá, ognuno nel proprio genere. I gioielli e le borse mi hanno particolarmente interessato, una firma che non conoscevo ancora e che ho cercato tra i vari stands dopo la sfilata e´quella di Lola Casademunt, gioielli, borse, cinturoni, foulard, cappelli e accessori vari per telefono mobil o l’ufficio che possono arricchire il look di chi vuole il dettaglio in “prima visione” o per fare un regalo diverso e speciale.

Para ser sincera, nunca había estado en The Brandery y debo decir que me ha encantado el ambiente tan juvenil, cercano y sobre todo, acogedor. Me sentí cómoda y pude pasar un día relajado viendo a los diferentes desfiles y disfrutar de la sencillez del lugar. El stand de Custo era el que mas destacó, pero debo decir que también otras firmas llamaron mi atención. Las escuelas de dibujo, corte, los artistas ofreciendo sus creaciones en directo y firmas conocidas, algunas un poco más algunas un poco menos, pero todas tenían un encanto especial. Me interesé mucho por la joyería y los bolsos, hubo una firma que aún no conocí y después del desfile intenté localizar la firma en los stands de la Feria; Lola Casademunt tiene joyas, bolsos, cinturones, bufandas, sombreros y accesorios para teléfono móvil o para la oficina que pueden gustar mucho si buscas q el detalle que se convierta en el protagonista de tu look o para hacer un regalo diferente y especial.

There are combinations that are just perfect! Leaving modesty aside, I´ve been looking for a beige coat for a long time. Beige is a great colour, you can match beige with everything, it´s elegant and perfect with any outfit. In this outfit everything is new: the knitted fur waistcoat, the skirt from Adolfo Domínguez with transparent “petals” of different colours, and what can I say about the Furla bag, I just love it (as well it can be worn on the shoulder for a more casual look). Shoes with animal print are a must this year and although these heels are very high I had no problem wearing them the whole day but I had a pair of ballerinas in the bag just in case… At first sight it looks like the stockings have been stained but if you look closer you´ll see that it´s not the case. I believe that this outfit was perfect for a very special day. What about you, what do you think? Do you like it?

Ci sono accostamenti che risultano semplicemente perfetti! Modesti a parte, il giaccone lo cercavo da tempo e mi mancava nel mio armadio, il beige e´un colore che abbini con tutto e risulta elegante e perfetto con qualsiasi capo. Questo outfit é assolutamente tutto nuovo: il gilet in pelliccia, la gonnellina di Adolfo Dominguez che sembra che é stata confezionata con petali trasparenti di diverse nuance e poi che dire del borsone della Furla, assolutamente fantastico, si può portare anche a tracolla grazie alla banda marrone e quindi in modo più sportivo, che dire poi delle scarpe un must di quest’anno per il suo animalier print, anche se altissime le ho portate con disinvoltura per tutta la giornata alla feria anche se pensavo, al contrario, che non avessi potuto resistere per tutta la giornata; mi ero munita, infatti, di ballerine speciali piegabili che portavo nella borsa ma, che ripeto non ho dovuto usare. Le collant che indosso mi sembrano originalissime, sembrano schizzate dal fango! Insomma ancora una volta ho azzeccato il mio lok per una giornata tutta speciale. e tu che ne pensi? Ti piace?

Hay combinaciones que son simplemente perfectas! Dejamos la modestia a parte, el abrigo lo estube buscando desde hace mucho tiempo en este color y que faltaba en mi armario, el color beige que combina con todo, resulta elegante y perfecto con cualquier prenda. Este outfit es absolutamente todo lo nuevo: el chaleco hecho de punto y pelo, la falda de Adolfo Domínguez, que parece que ha sido confeccionada con pétalos transparentes de diferentes tonos, y que decir del bolso de Furla, absolutamente fantástico, también puede llevarse cruzado con la banda marrón y le da un aire más deportivo, ademas los zapatos son un must de esta temporada con su estampado animal, a pesar de que tienen unos tacones de vértigo lo llevé durante todo el día sin problema, en principio pensaba que no hubiese podido llevarlos todo el día así que me llevé en el bolso unas bailarinas plegables para cuando me hubiese sido imposible llevar estos tacones, pero, repito que no me hicieron falta. Las medís parecen que hayan sido manchadas por haber sido salpicadas! Así que una vez mas acerté con el look para un día muy especial. Y a tí ¿qué te parece? ¿Te ha gustado?

The Brandery – Colectivo 1

The Brandery is definitely a springboard for many designers to introduce their collections especially to the younger audience. Although I no longer belong to the group “super young”, what matters is the spirit and I have to confess that with every year that pass I feel younger. It´s not mere rhetoric, it´s clear that the young designers have those of us that are not that young but want to be a part, or need to be part of this group, in mind as well when they design their collections. A clear example of something that works for all ages are jeans and the different models that was shown in this multi brand show by e.g. EXE, Keyone, Hafner and Paez (to mention a few) that confirms that the world of fashion belongs to all of us and that time and age doesn´t matter. Finally a simple question; Which of these creations would you choose?

The Brandery e´certamente un trampolino per molti stilisti che vedono e vedranno le loro creazioni catapultate nel mondo della moda sopratutto giovanile. Anche se ormai non appartengo piú al mondo dei giovanissimi, quello che conta e´lo spirito, e devo confessarvi che piú anni compio e piú giovane mi sento, non e´una facile fraseologia o simplemente retorica, ma, ci stiamo accorgendo che gli stilisti, anche se giovanissimi, pensano anche a chi ha un pó piú d’etá e vuole ancora appartenere al gruppo di quei giovani che indossando capi facilmente inseribili nel proprio armadio, un esempio evidente é sempre il jeans che continuamo a portare ad ogni etá. I modelli che abbiamo visto in questa multi-passerella, dove si sono presentate firme gia´conosciute come per esempio EXE, Keyone, Hafner e Paez, mi confermano che il mondo giovanile appartiene anche a noi che viviamo la moda senza tempo e né etá. Per concludere vi faccio un a semplice domanda:” Quali modelli vi portereste a casa?”

The Brandery es sin duda un trampolín para muchos diseñadores que verán sus creaciones catapultadas en el mundo de la moda especialmente juvenil. A pesar de que yo ya no pertenezco más al mundo de los súper jóvenes, lo que importa es el espíritu, tengo que confesar que mas años cumplo y más joven me siento, no es simple retórica, nos estamos dando cuenta de que los diseñadores, aunque muy jóvenes, piensan también en los que ya no son tan jóvenes, pero que necesitan y quieren seguir siendo parte de este grupo, pudiendo introducir prendas de sus colecciones; un ejemplo obvio es siempre los vaqueros para cada edad, incluso los modelos que hemos visto en este desfile de múltimarcas, han presentado firmas ya conocidas como EXE, Keyone, Hafner y Paez y que confirman que el mundo de los jóvenes nos pertenecen a nosotros que vivimos una moda sin tiempo y sin edad. Finalmente, me encantaría formular una pregunta muy simple:”¿Con cuál de estas creaciones te quedarías tu?

Wow, how exciting! To be totally honest it was the first time ever I´ve been to a fashion show by Veneno en la Piel and I was thrilled. An explosion of colors: orange, pistachio green, fuchsia, red fire in fabrics like satin. A great spring / summer 2012 collection with some fantastic cuts, amazing and great plunging necklines, to emphasize a sexy and self confident woman without lapsing into vulgarity. It was a real honor to attend the show and I was able to embrace one of the stylist after the show and I took the opportunity to thank her for a very great show and a beautiful collection. Ah last but not least, a big hand for the models that walked down a steep staircase (looking rather risky to me) without any mishap in very high heels. Congratulations to all!

Wow, che emozione! Sinceramente era la prima volta che assistevo alla sfilata della firma Veneno En La Piel e ne sono rimasta entusiasmata. Un’esplosione di colori : arancione, verde pistacchio, fucsia, rosso fuoco su stoffe come il raso. Certamente per una primavera/ estate 2012 fantastica, i grandi spacchi incredibili e scollature esagerate proiettano una ragazza sexy e decisa che mantiene il suo fascino senza cadere nella volgaritá. Ne e´valsa proprio la pena ed ho anche potuto abbracciare una delle creatrici della firma che ringrazio per la sua disponibilitá e simpatia. Ah, concludo applaudendo l’abilitá delle modelle che scendevano una scalinata, non certo facile, per il loro portamento indossando delle zeppe altissime; complimenti!

Wow, qué emocionante! Sinceramente fue la primera vez que vi el desfile de la firma Veneno En La Piel y estaba emocionada. Una explosión de colores: naranja, verde pistacho, fucsia, rojo fuego en tejidos como el raso. Está genial para una primavera / verano de 2012 con unos cortes fantásticos, increíbles y grandes escotes exagerados, para resaltar una chica sexy y segura que mantiene su encanto sin caer en la vulgaridad. Ha sido un honor asistir al desfile y he podido abrazar una de las estilista después del desfile y que aprovecho desde aquí en darle las gracias por su disponibilidad y simpatía. Ah, para terminar me gustaría aplaudir a las modelos que bajaron una escalera a mi parecer peligrosa y que con su habilidad pudieron bajar sin ningún tipo de percance aun llevando unas plataformas de vértigo, ¡enhorabuena a todas!
