Unfortunately I will not be able to celebrate New Year´s Eve this year as I will have to work very early tomorrow morning (that´s aviation!) but I hope that all of you will have a very nice evening and a good start of 2012. Happy New Year All!

Last night was the night of fear. Ghosts, witches, demons, monsters, skeletons and vampires walked the streets of the city. Halloween is an imported holiday, yes, but foremost a feast for the children, living the illusion to receive candy, trying to scare and to make jokes. I´ve been celebrating this night with my children for several years and as usual we had a great time yesterday. I have to admit that I like it as much as they do and I recognize myself in the happy faces of my kids.

Ieri notte era la festa del terrore, fantasmi, streghe,  diavoli,  mostri, scheletri e vampiri hanno sfilato nelle vie della cittá. Halloween e´una festa importata, sí, ma, sopratutto una festa per i bambini che vivono l’illusione di ricevere carammelle cercando di spaventare e facendo scherzetti. I miei bambini festeggiano la festa da diversi anni ormai, ieri  si sono divertiti moltissimo ma, devo ammettere che anche a me piace tantissimo e mi specchio nei visini allegri dei miei cuccioli.

Anoche fue la fiesta del miedo, fantasmas, brujas, demonios, monstruos, esqueletos y vampiros han desfilado por las calles de la ciudad. Halloween es una fiesta importada, sí, pero sobre todo una fiesta para los niños que viven la ilusión de recibir caramelos tratando de asustar  y gastando bromas. Mis hijos celebran esta fiesta desde hace varios años, ayer lo pasamos muy bien, pero debo admitir que me gusta mucho a mí también y me reflejo en los rostros alegres de mis peques.

Here are some more photos of the shop windows in Rome this spring. The area is the same as in the earlier two posts;  Via del Corso, Via Condotti, Piazza di Spagna, Via Frattina, Via Borgognona etc. Now I have to prepare myself for tonights dinner, more about that in a future post. Well, it´s rather obvious by now that I really liked this fashion show. I believe that when you have such a pleasant experience like this one it´s nice to share it with others and through the blog I have that possibility to do that through my photos. As you can see the fall / winter – 2011 / 2012 we´ll wear dark gray, red & black, dark green, transparent, satin, feathers, sequins, leather gloves with jewels and a very slim waist.

Bene, e’ evidente che la sfilata mi e’ rimasta impressa; quando si hanno queste esperienze cosí gratificanti e’ bello poterle condividere con gli altri ed io ho la possibilita’ di farvi vedere cio’ che hanno visto i miei occhi attraverso le foto che vi mostro. Ebbene, come potete osservare dalle molteplici foto, per il 2011-12 si portera’ il grigio topo total look, il rosso abbinato al nero, il verde bottiglia, il tutto con giochi di  trasparenze, raso, piume, paiettes,guanti di pelle con gli strass e girovita da infarto.

Bien, esta’ claro que el desfile me ha gustado mucho; cuando se tienen experiencias de este tipo tan placenteras, es muy bonito compartirlas con los demás y yo tengo la posibilidad de poder enseñaros los que mis ojos han visto a través de mis fotos. Como podeís ver en las fotos, para el 2011-12 se llevara´el total look gris oscuro, el rojo conjuntado con el negro, el verde oscuro, transparencias, satén, plumas, lentejuelas, guantes de piel con pedreria y una cintura ceñida al extremo.
