Last Thursday I was invited to the opening party of the Mulberry shop in Palma de Mallorca, located right in the heart of the city. It´s not the first time that I refer to Mulberry, their bags are great, made ​​with premium leather and during the party an artisan was showing how the leather is prepared to be cut. For the occasion I chose a bright strapless empire-style gown and electric blue platform sandals made of suede (first time I used them). A special night where, among other things, I met people that I haven´t seen since I stopped flying.

Giovedì scorso sono stata invitata all’inaugurazione del negozio di Mulberry a Palma di Maiorca in pieno centro città. Non é certamente la prima volta che faccio riferimento alla Maison Mulberry, le sue borse sono eccezionali in quanto sopratutto alla pelle utilizzata, a tale proposito era stato addirittura invitato un artigiano che mostró il taglio del pellame. Per l’occasione ho scelto un abito lungo luminoso stile impero senza spalline e dei sandali in camoscio blu elettrico con plateau che indossavo per la prima volta. Una serata speciale dove fra l’altro ho rivisto persone a me care di quando lavoravo come air hostess.

El jueves pasado me invitaron a la inauguración de la tienda de Mulberry en Palma de Mallorca en pleno centro de la ciudad. No es ciertamente la primera vez que hago referencia a la Maison Mulberry, sus bolsos son fantásticos hecho con piel de primera, en la tienda un artesano estuvo mostrando como se realizaba el corte de la piel. Para la ocasión elegí un vestido largo brillante sin tirantes estilo imperio con unas sandalias de gamuza azul eléctrico de plataforma que puse por primera vez. Una noche especial donde, entre otras cosas, encontré a gente que no veía desde cuando estaba trabajando como azafata de vuelo.

Quiero daros las gracias por vuestros comentarios que son siempre bienvenidos y leidos por mí, salto de alegría cuando veo que mis posts son apreciados y que a través de vuestros comentarios puedo esforzarme más para dar lo mejor de mí misma y poderos satisfacer plenamente.

Mi vida está muy atareadas, trabajo, hijos, esposo y amigos, … el blog, mi gran pasión que comparto con vosotros y que me divierte. Sabiendo que estaís allí y leeís mis posts y miraís mis fotos me haceís inmensamente feliz sin vosotros todo esto no será posible. Desde que era una chica me escribía un diario todos los días, mis miedos, mis dudas, , mis sueños, pero era fin a sí mismo, me siento como aquella niña que puede compartir su verdaderas pasión con los demás … soís vosotros. I never thought that I would get up early and wait outside a Massimo Dutti store to open, but that´s just what I did this morning, as the sales started today I wanted to get my hand on some garments that I saw last week. So there I was for the first time in my life, I was expecting that it would be crowded but guess what… it was just me! I began to think that maybe it wasn´t today but at nine when they opened the doors there was actually a small crowd behind me.

I found everything that I wanted and I was able to pay without having to fight my way to the cashier. I don´t like the idea to find something  that I like, put it down for a second just to find out that someone grabbed it in front of my eyes, then disappear in the crowd and me standing there helpless. Or maybe rummaging in the misplaced garments, wrinkled and mixed perhaps with others from past seasons…for sure I´m not a big FAN of sales! I prefer  to wait a few days, maybe find something I like and do not need urgently. Today was it a bit different, more relaxed, maybe it’s because people have stopped buying because of the crisis?

Non avrei mai immaginato di recarmi di prima mattina ai saldi e trovarmi fuori dal negozio di Massimo Dutti per poter acchiappare i capi visti la scorsa settimana. Eppure, ero lá, per la prima volta, in vita mia, ed ero anche la prima ad esserci. Non c’era nessuno intorno, e dapprima ho quasi incominciato a sospettare che forse mi ero sbagliata di giorno ma, alle nove, si aprirono le porte e dietro di me vidi che, si era formata una fila abbastanza considerevole.

Ho trovato tutto quello che avevo adocchiato in precedenza, ed ho pagato tranquillamente senza spintoni. Proprio per paura di trovarmi alle prese con qualcuno che cerca di trovare il momento giusto per acchiappare quello che, tu in un momento di distrazione hai appoggiato un attimo e, vedere l’ultima taglia sparire sotto i tuoi occhi senza poter farci niente, oppure trovare banchi interi di capi arrotolati, sgualciti mischiati magari con altri di stagioni ormai passate, non sono una FAN dei saldi! Preferisco andare magari, qualche giorno più tardi e aspettare se vedo qualcosa d’occasione e che non mi serve con urgenza. Oggi é stato diverso, forse é perché: “La gente ha smesso di comprare per via della crisi?!”

Nunca pensé ir temprano por la mañana a las rebajas y estar fuera de la tienda de Massimo Dutti para atrapar aquellas prendas que vi la semana pasada. Sin embargo, allí estaba yo, por primera vez en mi vida, y también era la primera en estar allí. No había nadie alrededor, y al principio casi empezé a sospechar que tal vez me equivoqué de día, pero, a las nueve, se abrieron las puerta detrás de mí y vi que se había formado una cola bastante considerable.

He encontrado todo lo que había visto antes, y he pagado tranquilamente sin empujones. Justo por esta razón, tengo el temor de encontrarme con alguien que, trata de encontrar el momento adecuado para agarrar lo que en un momento de descuido hayas apoyado y verlo después desaparecer bajo mi mirada sin poder hacer nada por detenerla o quizás encontrarme rebuscando en medio de ropa toda mal colocadas, arrugadas mezclada tal vez, con otras de las temporadas pasadas, está entonces claro, que no soy muy FAN de la rebajas! Prefiero ir, unos días más tarde y esperar la oportunidad de ver algo que me guste y que no necesite con urgencia. Hoy ha sido diferente, tal vez es porque: “La gente ha dejado de comprar debido a la crisis?”

Salve followers, sicuro che molte di voi stanno già facendo la valigia per le ormai prossime vacanze pasquali e, non sapete proprio come regolarvi…il tempo è incerto un momento c’é il sole e d’improvviso bisogna correre a ripararsi dall’acquazzone. Certo che molto dipende se andate al mare o in montagna! Molte di voi rimarranno in città e se la potranno godere tranquillamente. I jeans sono sempre i nostri grandi alleati, magliette colorate, vestiti o gonne lunghe, camicia o giubbottino  jeans, spolverini e trench coat leggeri. Hola followers, seguro que muchas de vosotras ya están haciendo la maleta para las próximas vacaciones de Semana Santa y, no sabeís que poner… el tiempo es incierto,un momento hace sol y de repente tiene que correr a repararte por el aguacero. Por supuesto, mucho depende de si vas a la playa o a la montaña! Muchas seguirá en la ciudad y así poder disfrutarla tranquilamente. Los vaqueros son siempre nuestros grandes aliados, las camisas coloridas, vestidos o faldas largas, camisa o cazadora vaqueras, abrigos y trench coat ligeros. Recuerdo que cuando estuve en la Feria The Brandery en Barcelona, ​​el pasado enero, la firma Replay ofrecía prendas sencillas, juveniles y asesibles que podrían, en mi opinión, ayudarte a elegir la ropa que pueden simplificarte mucho la preparación de tu maleta. To be totally honest I had never been to The Brandery before and I must say that I loved the atmosphere, so young, natural and above all welcoming. I felt at home immediately and I spent a relaxing day watching the fashion shows and enjoying the simplicity of the place. Custo’s stand really stood out but other brands caught my attention as well. The schools of drawing, cutting, designers “creating” live, well known brands, some not so well known but all of it very charming. I took a special interest in jewelry and handbags and there was a brand that caught my attention during one of the fashion shows and later I found their stand – Lola Casademunt –  they have jewelry, bags, belts, scarves, hats, accessories for mobile phones and for the office and you´ll probably like them if you’re into details that adds that special touch to your look or if you´re looking for a special and different gift.

Sinceramente non ero mai stata a The Brandery e devo dire che ne sono rimasta affascinata dall’ambiente cosí giovanile, vicino e sopratutto comodo. Mi sono sentita a mio agio ed ho potuto passare una giornata piacevole vedendo le varie sfilate e godendo della semplicitá del luogo. Lo stand di Custo predominava la feria ma, devo dire che gli altri angoli trasmettevano un qualcosa di speciale che hanno attirato la mia attenzione. Scuole di disegno, di taglio, artisti proponendo in diretto le loro creazioni e tantissime firme conosciute, chi un po´di piú chi un po´di meno ma, con una particolaritá, ognuno nel proprio genere. I gioielli e le borse mi hanno particolarmente interessato, una firma che non conoscevo ancora e che ho cercato tra i vari stands dopo la sfilata e´quella di Lola Casademunt, gioielli, borse, cinturoni, foulard, cappelli e accessori vari per telefono mobil o l’ufficio che possono arricchire il look di chi vuole il dettaglio in “prima visione” o per fare un regalo diverso e speciale.

Para ser sincera, nunca había estado en The Brandery y debo decir que me ha encantado el ambiente tan juvenil, cercano y sobre todo, acogedor. Me sentí cómoda y pude pasar un día relajado viendo a los diferentes desfiles y disfrutar de la sencillez del lugar. El stand de Custo era el que mas destacó, pero debo decir que también otras firmas llamaron mi atención. Las escuelas de dibujo, corte, los artistas ofreciendo sus creaciones en directo y firmas conocidas, algunas un poco más algunas un poco menos, pero todas tenían un encanto especial. Me interesé mucho por la joyería y los bolsos, hubo una firma que aún no conocí y después del desfile intenté localizar la firma en los stands de la Feria; Lola Casademunt tiene joyas, bolsos, cinturones, bufandas, sombreros y accesorios para teléfono móvil o para la oficina que pueden gustar mucho si buscas q el detalle que se convierta en el protagonista de tu look o para hacer un regalo diferente y especial.
