On September 12, the actress Jennifer Lopez was spotted in the Tribeca neighborhood in New York, wearing a Max Mara dress in a soft “nude” colour with Christian Louboutin platforms and a “clutch” in light coloured reptile. Frankly, I have to say that she’s a bit too curvy for such garment and it’s not very flattering because it highlights her weakest parts, on the other hand the wavy hair, that is fashionable now, is perfect. I give 10 for the jumpsuit and 5 for the look . What rating would you give?

Lo scorso 12 di Settembre, l’attrice Jennifer Lopez si trovava nella zona di Tribeca a New York, indossava una tutina di Max Mara in un tenue color “nude” con platò di Christian Louboutin ed una pochette in rettile color cipria.  Sinceramente devo dire che per il suo corpo un po’ troppo sinuoso, questo tipo di capo le evidenzia troppo i punti deboli, perfetta invece la messa in piega”ombrè” come va di moda adesso. Un 10 alla tutina e un 5 a chi la porta. Voi che voto le date?

Francamente, tengo que decir que para su cuerpo un poco demasiado curvilíneo, este tipo de prende no le favorece mucho ya que resalta sus puntos más débiles,  por lo contrario el pelo estilo ondulado, como está de moda ahora, es perfecto. On February 26th, actress Melissa McCarthy attended the 84th edition of the Academy Awards in Hollywood. In my opinion she was dressed very nice and appropriate for a type of figure like hers, with a few extra kilos, in fact, an empire style dress can hide the belly and makes the fabric fall in a nice and natural way, as well the butterfly sleeves make her arms look slimmer. The outfit is absolutely right for this kind of event, enriched with some details that adds some light here and there, without being too bulky, like the silver clutch. The hair up looks great as well, a little loose, adding some volume on top that stylize the figure. Finally, I think that the colour of the dress really suits her well!

Lo scorso 26 di Febbraio l’attrice Melissa McCarthy partecipó alla 84esima edizione dell’Accademia degli Oscar a Hollywood. Indossava un vestito a mio parere molto bello e adatto ai tipi che, come lei, hanno qualche chilo di troppo; infatti,  il taglio impero, permette nascondere eventualmente la pancia e fa si che la stoffa,  abbia una caduta leggera, anche il taglio di maniche a farfalla e ampia fa si che non si notino le braccia un po’ troppo voluminose. L’insieme lo trovo adatto anche all’occasione, arricchito da qualche dettaglio che apporta un punto di luce quá e lá, senza essere  troppo voluminoso come la clutch in argento, i capelli raccolti in maniera morbida e con un poco di volume in alto stilizzano la figura; il colore del vestito trovo che  le va a pennello!

El 26 de febrero la actriz Melissa McCarthy participó en la edición número 84 de los Premios de la Academia de los Oscar en Hollywood. Llevaba un vestido en mi opinión, muy bonito y adecuado para los tipos que, como ella, tienen unos kilos de más, de hecho, el corte imperio, permite ocultar el vientre y, finalmente, hace que el tejido, tenga una caída ligera, también el corte y las mangas de mariposa anchas hacen que no se note el volumen de los brazos.  El conjunto además resulta apropiado para la ocasión, enriquecido con algún detalle que le otorga un punto de luz aquí y allá, sin ser demasiado voluminoso como la clutch en plata, el pelo recogido también le sienta genial un poco suelto y con volumen arriba por lo que le estiliza mucho la figura; el color del vestido me parece que le va súper bien!

It´s truly difficult to choose between … the dresses that these two celebrities are wearing from the Max Mara S/S collection. First we have Rosie Huntington-Whiteley model and actress, famous for appearing in the Pirelli calendar (photographed by Terry Richardson) wearing a magnificent dress with open back arriving at the Maxim Hot 100 party in Hollywood. And then actress Emma Roberts, twenty years, niece of Julia Roberts that poses in a stylish cocktail dress at the party held after the World Premiere of the latest Harry Potter movie at the Old Billingsgate Market in London, what I like most is the bicolor and the details in velvet and lace.

Veramente non saprei chi scegliere… le due famose indossano due vestiti della collezione P/E Max Mara che farebbe gola a chiunque. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley attrice e modella,  famosa per apparire in  uno dei famosi calendari Pirelli fotografata da Terry Richardson,  indossa un vestito stupendo con la schiena scoperta che, personalmente mi fa impazzire, all’arrivo alla festa Maxim Hot 100 Party di Hollywood. L’attrice Emma Roberts, ventenne, nipote di Julia Roberts, posa con un vestito stilo cocktail  alla festa celebrata, dopo la  Premiere mondiale  dell’ultimo film di Harry Potter, nel Old Billingsgate Market a Londra, quello che piú mi piace  é  il bicolore e le rifiniture in velluto e pizzo.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley actriz y modelo, famosa por aparecer en el calendario Pirelli y fotografiada por Terry Richardson, lleva un vestido magnifico con la espalda al aire, a su llegada a la fiesta Maxim Hot 100 Party de Hollywood. La actriz Emma Roberts, de veinte años, sobrina de Julia Roberts, posa con un vestido estilo cocktail a la fiesta celebrada, después de la Premiere mundial de la última película de Harry Potter, en el Old Billingsgate Market de Londres, lo que más me gusta es el  bicolor y  el acabado en terciopelo y encaje.

American actress Susan Sarandon, mother of Italian-American origin and father from Wales, is a woman that has been doing a lot; among other things she won an Oscar for the role as sister Helen Prejean in the movie Dead Man Walking in 1995, in the eighties she moved to Rome and spent her time between Rome and New York and in February 2006 she was carrying the Olympic flag at the opening of the Winter Olympics in Turin. On June 2nd 2011 she attended the 200th anniversary party of Perrier-Jouet at Mondrian Soho in New York in a dress from the Max Mara S/S 2011 collection. The animal print is still hot and many designers as Cavalli and Dolce Gabanna have shown extravagant and fun collections on the catwalk. Susan wears the dress in a natural way but the shoes doesn´t go very well with the rest of the outfit. I would have chosen another kind of shoes to make the legs look longer, without the cuff on the ankle that actually makes the legs look shorter and the ankles wider. I find it all rather boring, especially all the tiny jewels, in a nutshell a look that makes her look older and dull.

L’attrice Susan Sarandon americana ma, di origine italo-americana da parte di madre e gallese da parte di padre, conquista l’Oscar nell’interpretazione di suor Helen Prejean per il film Condannato a Morte nel 1995. Ha vissuto negli anni ´80 tra Roma e New York ed ha portato la bandiera olimpica all’apertura dei Giochi Olimpici invernali di Torino  nel febbraio 2006. Il 2 giugno ha partecipato alla festa del 200 anniversario di Perrier-Jouet nel Mondrian Soho a New York. Il vestito che indossa e’ della firma Max Mara della collezione P/E 2011, lo stile animal-print e’ un must che continua anche in questa stagione e che molti stilisti hanno sfoggiato nelle loro sfilate con nuove varianti, un esempio eccentrico come Cavalli e divertente  come Dolce Gabbana. Susan indossa il vestito di Max Mara con disinvoltura ma, sinceramente il tipo di scarpa non e’ adatto all’insieme. Avrei scelto una scarpa che la slanciasse di piu, senza il cinturino alla caviglia che accorcia  la gamba e che mette troppo  in evidenza la caviglia che non e’ poi cosí sottile, inoltre trovo l’insieme molto sciapo sopratutto nei troppi gioiellini un po’ dappertutto insomma, sembra un po’ troppo signora e manca di personalita’.

La actriz americana Susan Sarandon de origen ítalo-americana de parte de madre y gales de parte de padre, gana el Oscar en la interpretación de sor Helen Prejean por la película de  Pena de Muerte en el 1995. En los años ochenta se traslado’ a Roma donde vivió’ un tiempo entre Roma y Nueva York, llevo’ la bandera olímpica en la abertura de los Juegos Olímpicos de invierno en Turín en el febrero de 2006. El 2 de junio asistio’ a la fiesta del 200 aniversario de Perrier-Jouet en Mondrian Soho en Nueva York. El vestido que lleva para el acontecimiento es de Max Mara de la colección P/V 2011, el estilo animal print sigue siendo de moda esta temporada también y muchos estilistas lo ha llevado en las pasarelas de forma extravagante como Cavalli o divertido como Dolce Gabbana. Susan lleva el vestido de forma natural pero, el modelo de zapatos que lleva no es el adecuado al conjunto. Yo hubiese elegido unos zapatos que alargaran ópticamente la pierna, sin llevar el brazalete en el tobillo ya que acortan la pierna y  ensanchan los tobillos, el conjunto lo encuentro bastante soso, sobre todo por las múltiples joyas pequeñitas un poco por todo, en resumida cuenta, parece demasiado señora con falta de personalidad.

Who does not remember movies like Batman, The Edge with Anthony Hopkins and Robin with George Clooney? Well, Elle MacPherson has been lucky enough to star in these films. On May 12th the model and actress, known as “the body”  arrived at a party in Milan dressed by Max Mara. All in white, a very chic and elegant look matched with sandals in bronze. I love the double-buttoned jacket and the wide trousers with a lot of fall, I have a pair that I bought recently that I´m crazy about. I’ll show them in one of my coming outfits …..

Chi non ricorda il film Batman, The Edge con Anthony Hopkins e Robin con George Clooney? Ebbene, Elle MacPherson ha avuto la fortuna di essere la protagonista di questi film. Lo scorso 12 di Maggio la modella e attrice , conosciuta come “il corpo”, ha fatto la sua apparizione ad una festa a Milano vestita da Max Mara. Un total look bianco, azzeccato ed elegantissimo con sandali bronzo. Personalmente mi piacciono molto le giacche doppio petto e i pantaloni ampi e morbidi; ne ho un paio acquistati da poco che mi fanno impazzire, ve li faro’ vedere presto in un mio outfit….

Un total look en blanco, acertado y muy elegante con sandalia en bronce. Me gustan mucho las americanas con doble abotonadura y los pantalones anchos con mucha caída; tengo un par que he comprado hace poco y que me vuelven loca, os lo enseñare’ en uno de mis próximo outfit…..

E’ da anni che la firma di lusso di borse e accessori Loewe non presentava le sue collezioni a Madrid e,  proprio ieri ha sfilato nel “Jadin Botanico” della capitale spagnola. Tra le celebrities che hanno tenuto il piacere di essere invitate all’evento, Maria Valverde, attrice spagnola, portava una camicia e pantaloni della Sportmax, e pochette della firma Loewe. Un look primaverile semplice ed elegante. Complimenti!

Con Liz se ne va una delle piu’ belle attrici del pianeta, i suoi occhi di un rarissimo color violetto ha innamorato tutti. Chi non ricorda alcune delle sue interpretazioni come Cleopatra o Chi ha paura di Virginia Woolf?  Ha anche lanciato tre profumi col suo nome Passion, With Diamonds e Black Pearls.
