<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">ENGLISH/</span></strong></p>
<p>Today it´s one of these days when I miss my beautiful city. A part of my heart belongs to Rome and even though I go there quite a lot there is no place like home and the things you can do there. Strolling through the squares, streets and alleys is like traveling through time, you find small wonders that leave you open-mouthed. Here are some pictures from last spring when I walked the streets passing some well known tourist sights as well as some more authentic and not so well known places that like the Roman say fill &#8220;er core&#8221;.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">ITALIANO/</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">ESPAÑOL/</span></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/2-courtyard-via-del-mancino-style-by-daniela.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7545" title="Courtyard Via del Mancino - Rome - style by daniela" src="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/2-courtyard-via-del-mancino-style-by-daniela.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="810" /></a>Sometimes it seems that you can find sculptures and monuments on every corner &#8211; courtyard on Via del Mancino.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7547" title="Piazza della Rotonda / Pantheon - Roma - style by daniela" src="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/pantheon-style-by-daniela.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="810" />Piazza della Rotonda &#8211; right behind Pantheon.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/via-veneto-style-by-daniela.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7548" title="Green Bike Via Veneto - Roma - style by daniela" src="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/via-veneto-style-by-daniela.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="810" /></a>I saw this bike parked in the corner of Via Veneto and Piazza Barberini and immediately fell in love with the combination of colours.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/5-charlotte-cake-style-by-daniela.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7549" title="Charlotte Cake - Italy / Rome - style by daniela" src="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/5-charlotte-cake-style-by-daniela.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="810" /></a>Charlotte cake &#8211; the one and only &#8211; my favorite.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">.<a href="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/6-piazza-navona-3-style-by-daniela.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7551" title="Piazza Navona - Rome - style by daniela" src="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/6-piazza-navona-3-style-by-daniela.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="810" /></a>Piazza Navona &#8211; a must see in Rome even if it can be rather crowded sometimes.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/7-via-dei-greci-style-by-daniela.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7552" title="Via dei Greci - Roma - style by daniela" src="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/7-via-dei-greci-style-by-daniela.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="810" /></a>Many streets are covered with cobblestones - very nice but they are real high heel killers.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/8-enoteca-palatium-style-by-daniela.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7570" title="Enoteca Palatium - Roma - style by daniela" src="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/8-enoteca-palatium-style-by-daniela.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="360" /></a>Enoteca Palatium on Via Frattina 94 &#8211; great dining - all products are from the Lazio region.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/9-juan-pablo-ii-style-by-daniela.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7571" title="Juan Pablo II - Roma - style by daniela" src="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/9-juan-pablo-ii-style-by-daniela.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="810" /></a>JP II &#8211; there will never be another like him.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/10-piazza-navona-2-style-by-daniela.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7572" title="Piazza Navona - Rome - style by daniela" src="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/10-piazza-navona-2-style-by-daniela.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="810" /></a>More from Piazza Navona.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/11-michel-harem-on-via-sistina-style-by-daniela.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7573" title="Michel Harem on Via Sistina - Rome - style by daniela" src="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/11-michel-harem-on-via-sistina-style-by-daniela.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="810" /></a>Rome is great for all kinds of shopping and if you take some time to look around I´m sure that you will find your own favorite shop &#8211; Michel Harem on Via Sistina.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/12-pantheon-from-behind-style-by-daniela.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7574" title="Pantheon from behind - Rome - style by daniela" src="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/12-pantheon-from-behind-style-by-daniela.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="810" /></a>Pantheon from behind &#8211; Roma Bella!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/13-horse-carriage-style-by-daniela.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7575" title="Horse and Carriage - Rome - style by daniela" src="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/13-horse-carriage-style-by-daniela.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="810" /></a>Yes you can still find a horse and carriage.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/14-piazza-della-rotonda-style-by-daniela.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7554" title="Piazza della Rotonda / Pantheon - Rome - style by daniela" src="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/14-piazza-della-rotonda-style-by-daniela.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="810" /></a>Did I mention that there are sculptures and monuments on almost every corner?</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/15-green-lamborghini-style-by-daniela.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7555" title="Green Lamborghini - Rome - style by daniela" src="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/15-green-lamborghini-style-by-daniela.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="810" /></a>Green seems to be a popular colour this year.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/16-olive-oil-style-by-daniela.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7556" title="Olive Oil - Rome - style by daniela" src="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/16-olive-oil-style-by-daniela.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="810" /></a>And all from Lazio.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/via-dell-umilta-style-by-daniela.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7557" title="Via Marco Minghetti / Via dell Umilta - Rome - style by daniela" src="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/via-dell-umilta-style-by-daniela.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="810" /></a>Small atrium / passage between Via Marco Minghetti and Via dell Umilta that most tourists miss.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/18-corso-vittorio-manuele-ii-style-by-daniela.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7558" title="Corso Vittorio Manuele II - Rome - style by daniela" src="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/18-corso-vittorio-manuele-ii-style-by-daniela.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="810" /></a>Pizza &#8211; what else!?</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/via-babuino-style-by-daniela.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7559" title="Flower Stand on Via dei Greci / Via Babuino - Rome - style by daniela" src="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/via-babuino-style-by-daniela.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="810" /></a>This is from a small flower stand in the corner of Via dei Greci and Via Babuino &#8211; I really like the colours and combinations.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/20-piazza-navona-1-style-by-daniela.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-7560" title="Piazza Navona - Rome - style by daniela" src="http://stylebydaniela.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/20-piazza-navona-1-style-by-daniela.jpg" alt="" width="540" height="810" /></a>These fountains / sculptures are so nice that they deserve one more shot &#8211; Piazza Navona.</p>
